Day 10:

No work for me today, so, to avoid getting under Mrs. Nix's feet I ran a few errands. Used the cap lifter and fine tips of the pliers to remove some staples from a magazine to use as packaging for a parcel I'm sending to Aloha.

Love the tips on these pliers:

Then it was off to the recycling center to dispose of some boxes. As I mentioned earlier, I've sharpened up the edge of the awl (without changing the edge geometry). It makes for a great package opener/box cutter now.

Somewhere I read that Tim Leatherman developed the Leatherman Tool after he was on vacation in Europe and decided he need a "Boy Scout knife with pliers." I kinda think this Spirit is what he had in mind.

I would be carrying one if I were him.  :salute:

But then again I would be carrying one if I was anyone (or at least someone).  :D

A little wood prep today.  This challenge has really shapped up.  Look'n good every one.

Thanks! The tools are in great condition, and I have to admit that the locking system, which I thought was a slide lock, is actually a liner lock, it is genius, and I love it.
Turns out the 120mm range is not 120mm though.

Day 11

Removing the last of my office xmas decorations. Twisted off the tie wraps (and a couple of the sticky bases) to remove the rope light from around my desk at work.

Day 12

I was painting a skylight today and had to remove a metal plate. The chisel came in handy again and also the pliers to pull out the staples.

Day 12 of 30

Barely had time to sharpen a pencil today :ahhh Sure been busy  But I did try the combo blade for pencil sharpening and since the PE part of it is at the bottom (in contrast to most combo blades) it worked a treat :salute:

Done. And if I dare say so myshelf, not too shabby.
