Day 8 Bonus Pic!

Out for drinks with a dear friend, and I brought him this 2000 Soldier that I recently found for him.  It’s going to be his kiddo’s BYSAK.  :)

OK...that’s a twist. I’m liking that wrong-ended bail. No risk of closing the blade on that one.

At work today with the Old Cross Pioneer, just waiting on a task to use the knife and for a long weekend to start!
Cheers!

Thanks Frailer!   It's a homemade solution; I like using a lanyard to prevent accidental loss.  :)

Day 9, and I got use out of the reamer to dislodge a nugget of glass from my tire's treads.

Good uses and nice knives, everyone! Myron, did you drill that rivet to put a bail through it? Very impressive work if so! :hatsoff:

Day 9Nice shots guys, I love using the bottle opener on my SAK, it’s a great way to start the weekend! Alas I met my wife after work tonight, so just package duty today.  All the Bugnard talk made me want to carry mine.  It’s only a pruner, so I used the pruning blade.

Day 9: screwing screws. Just dicovered that I, too, have a scraper on my cap lifter. Don’t know how I missed it over the years.

Day 10!   I have to get going to help a friend close up his cottage, so I don't have time for anything more than a glam shot of my BSA Pioneer.

Yes!   I put it in a table vise and drilled it very carefully on my drill press.  The holes are only about 2 mm deep.

I think that scraper is so cool.  These Alox knives are built like tanks! I tried to use my scraper to cut this zip tie but it wasn't quite sharp enough.
I used mine for some home maintenance work yesterday.

Good Saturday to you awl.  I'm having a special treat for today's lunch.  Opened, of course, by the main blade on the OC Electrician.

Day 10: Solo Saturday.  This one was a fortunate eBay find a couple of years ago. $9.95 shipped, with a single blurry photo...I figured it was worth taking a chance.  It was.

Good Saturday guys!

Day 10

It's Thanksgiving weekend up here in Canada.  We decided to get together with some family for a Covid friendly bike ride.
