I'm feeling sporty today  :mail:

Due to the aluminum frame it's quite a bit lighter than a regular 112, and together with the deep carry pocket clip it carries very well in my front pockets. I love it  :tu:

So tempting!   :ahhh      :D

It looks lime a tiny beehive hut like on the Skellig Islands. But it's too small and out of place there  :dunno:

It could have been much worst.  Winds was entered wrong, 98 recorded at airport , highest ever. Neighbors fancy weather station recorded a 104 mph.

Lost my privacy fence, all 5 -4"x 4" posts snapped off at ground level, 2 panels driven flat down, other 2 panels landed on my patio.  Roses are severely hurt , lost my accent point in the yard.   Found siding that was ripped away, reshaped and son n law was able to reinstall.

50 foot cottonwood totally uproot, laying across back yard at yard line, it is huge cannot tell yet how managed caused to trees on my side of line.

All debris picked up, power now restored for me, so did not loose any groceries.

Thank you for asking and concern.!!!

Am I missing something here ? I purchased a new 112 a month ago for a few £65.19 including shipping. I was delighted that it had the 50th Anniversary blade stamp on it. I had already been considering getting a 50th model but now I’m wondering do I need to. They are around £120 so that’s a big jump , are you really paying an extra £55 just for a scale shield and a fancy box ?

Buck are putting the 50th tang stamps on all their 112’s made in 2022 so in my opinion I already have a 50 th  Anniversary model

I agree with you, as I had the same predicament, a couple of months ago.
I planned to  buy a 50th year model. Instead found a drop point 112 in ebony.

It is my opinion that the 50th shield is for collectors more than users.

I  like the tang stamp confirming the 50th.  Better than the shield or the blade etching!

I like my knives to be tools, users carried with trust and pride.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!
