MP400 got used to fix some loose screws on a foot rest. While I was at it, I also removed some loose threads with the scissors.

Pioneer’s flat driver got used to open a can of paint.

I saw what you did there :like: :)

What’s the AV box they’re sitting on Sos?
I’ve a home studio so always interested in audio gear (Echotech being from my love of echo boxes)

The AV box is a 3 button AV input box for my low-tech home entertainment system that would probably make any techie shake their head.  My TV (old tube TV) only has one AV connection.  I use the 3 button box so I do not have to disconnect and reconnect cables every time I want to change between ROKU, digital to analog TV signal converter and another input box for DVD, VHS, WII.

DAY 21

Bit of a late finish again today. Lots of chaos at the airport with all the flight bans from the UK  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

As it was a work day no actual use, apart from the phone which I suppose does count  :dunno:

So, in addition here's a glamour shot of the glasses, watch and FX lounging around at home  ;)

I'll try and get round to reading all the other posts as soon as  :tu:
Nice pic.

Day 22

Just phone use so far.

Bantam and slug, I somehow find them good looking, well for a slug :pok:

Remind me of the nudibranch you see scuba diving

(Image removed from quote.)

And Coco of course

(Image removed from quote.)
I found and had to remove a slug from my kitchen floor last night.  My wife almost stepped on it

Coco looks so cute

Nice shot of Coco. That's exactly how I felt today too. :D
Day 21
Potting some cuttings today I used the saw from the Sidekick to scrape some of the bark off the cuttings before planting them. New roots will grow from the white layer under the bark, but you have to be careful not to expose too much or cut too deep.

Great use and task

Hello day 21.
Mystery package opening time !
A stash of goodies from one of my suppliers it seems.
The right thing would be to share around the office but as as i am so very busy I may wait till later after work to see if there any takers.  If not home it will have to go. Sounds fair to me.

Nice gift.  Sounds fair, people who are around get some.

Day 21

(Image removed from quote.)
Mountaineer helped cut a piece of lemon early in the morning for making lemon water.  Supposedly good for liver and the system.

(Image removed from quote.)
Midday I tried to practice taking apart and putting together my bracelet, and got to admit I really didn't get to practice much at all with the rope this month.  Working at home while having a toddler couple of feet next to you make it pretty much impossible to keep his little hands off the rope.

(Image removed from quote.)
Little guy did get a hold of my flashlight and play with it after sunset, he was rather curious to see a 'light' inside a small device, and keep calling 'lights'(how he call the ceiling lights).

Better watch out or you soon going to need to get him his own set of edc

Day 21: Happy Solstice!  Brisk again today.
Nice pic.  Did you get any of that Nor’easter weather or just normal weather for your area?

Day 21
The battery pack of my bike light died. It lasted over 4 winters and a hundred something charges.

The case is water proof, sealed and sold as is.
I wanted to open it, remove the dead batteries and maybe replace them with new ones if it makes sense.

Here's the dirty rig...

(Image removed from quote.)

And the battery pack...

(Image removed from quote.)

I've used the Spirits can opener to carefully open the  "can"...

(Image removed from quote.)

(Image removed from quote.)

The Spirits pliers couldn't get enough grip to pull out the battery pack! I've made some sparks as well while trying! Cool  :tu:

Mini Cobras (100mm) did the trick then...

(Image removed from quote.)

Job done. The case could be reused if I can find 6 18650 cells cheap enough to justify that. Probably not  ::)

And the old cells can be recycled properly now  :tu:

(Image removed from quote.)

Great task.

I bet you $5 instead of walking away, they will show you what real violence is. >:D :D

No kidding right?! :ahhh

How does this system work?  Does the score reset itself every week?  I thought you were already promoted to BTU couple pages back?

Nice pix!  This year we have no deco in the apartment, the little guy is curious about everything, and just in case he wants a bite of the Christmas tree or Santa...

I have an entire box of Christmas decorations my Mom saved and gave to me, but my decorating usually only consists of 4 decorations:
- The pictured snowman from my littlest brother.
- A Yule log decoration that was always on our table when I was growing up.
- Woodsie scene that my MOm had painted using tri-chem (special type of markers) when I was young.  My Mom recently found them and I claimed it as soon as I saw it.
-  A homemade decoration my MiL purchased for me a couple years back.

Day 21

I used the Spirit combo tool to open a package for my wife, then the Yeoman for some kitchen tasks.  Also, used the Yeoman scissors to cut some neoprene padding to put on the bottom of my bedside safe too help it sit level.  Then when all was said and done opened the IPA for the day.

Good use!  I do think switching out the 18650s made perfect sense.  If you are happy with the light and know how it should be connected, switching in better and protected cells would make this even safer and nicer to use!

The management seems to have a fickle sense of recall. And field demotions are more common than promotions....often triggered by the arrival of the postman......
I think the problem could potentially be solved by ordering more stuff(bribe) to the management, so she may turn a blind eye on the packages you receive. ;)

Hmmmm.....rope.....knots.....fidgeting toddler....I think I see a solution here......but not one that will get you promoted to the rank of BTU.....*** sigh ***
More like toddler reaching for the rope to fidget, and I will automatically get demoted before I could say 'doh!' :D

Better watch out or you soon going to need to get him his own set of edc
No kidding!  I have been his EDC caddy since he's born.  Diapers, baby wipes, drinking bottle, etc...I just can't imagine anyone with so many EDC gears that it's literally half his size! :D
