Paint can duty again. Only get to work on this project like an hour every day, so takes me longer than I want to. Just too much other stuff to do.  :dunno:

Day 22

Today went by real fast.  Went over to the in-laws for a little birthday celebration, so the Yeoman helped prep Fisher’s Jumpin-Jack (home alone treat).  Also, used the Spirit for a temporary fix to a broken tape dispenser and getting wrapping paper for wrapping gifts.

Day 22
Today I lost the pocket clip on my flashlight.  I don't know where or when it came off but when I got home the flashlight was in the bottom of my pocket instead of clipped just inside the top of the pocket.  So at least I didn't lose the light, just the most convenient means of carrying it.  Pretty sure Nitecore includes a replacement pocket clip in the box.  If only I could remember where I stashed the box.  I'm sure it's in a safe place, but that's all I've got to go on.

I'm glad you didn't loss your light Alan.  I've had mixed results with pocket clips.

Go ahead and say Bonnet if you prefer.  Real Americans are not so insecure that we can't give Europeans special dispensation to say Bonnet instead of Hood.  We're just happy you're driving a Chevy. :tu:

No use today, but did manage to grab a picture of the little guy playing with my flashlight while he climbed up onto the table.  He loves the momentary button on the back of the SF E1E. :D

Day 22
Uneventful day today.
Used the Spirits left-handed scissors with the left hand to cut off an annoying tag. Had no problems with that  :dunno:

And the bottle opener a moment ago...  :drink:
Hmmm...that's an interesting way to put it, I never think of scissors either left or right handed?

I have my fair share of gear falling out of pocket or involuntary 'transfer' because of pocket clip, and since then I have always been a pocket carry person.

I've read about complains regarding the Spirits scissors design if used right handed.
The cutting edge is hidden then which can be a hindrance if the cut must be precise.

Day 23

How do you store your EDC items when they are not on you? In a bowl, tray, nightstand, maybe a drawer somewhere?

Here is mine:

I made an oak tray that is located next to the garage and the jacket closet. So whenever I leave the house, no matter by car or on foot, I have to go past it. That way I can grab whatever I need, and everything is in one spot

Nice tray Sire  :tu:

We live in a small house (rented), no garage, not even a workshop. I put my EDC at the only spot I can control a bit, my desk  :D
The bag is hanging at the wardrobe.
That's it. I couldn't even put a tray somewhere  :dunno:

Day 23
The missus sent me out for grocery shopping.
Of course some specials (for Christmas) here and there so I was around a bit to have it all ticked off the list.

At least I seemed to have deserved exactly two self made minced pies for my efforts then :tu:

Later on the Executive helped removing a few tags  :tu:
