:bump:

This is getting close, so I am trying to decide on what to carry.

The Farmer X has been nice and it has killer scissors.
The Deluxe Tinker has the same scissors and also mini pliers.
The Rebar is a nice, compact option, full-size pliers, and I added a package opener and scissors.
The Roxon Phantom has monster scissors, but the nice blade would have to go unused.
The SuperRebar 300 is a nice option, if combined with a SAK or even dedicated scissors.

Decisions, decisions...

So far I’m looking at a LM Raptor, Wenger Air Traveler, a custom SAK that is just the opener layer, SeberTool M3 (if I can find it), lots of OPMTs, and a keyring of assorted tiny tools. Lots of options.

Nothing. Well, maybe a CRKT KERT. Nothing else. For any tool action that comes up, I do without, or hunt down a full-size tool wherever I am.

My workplace (hospital) is a bladeless zone even if I often "forget" that I have a bladed SAK in my pocket.

Should be a fun challenge as I have plenty of bladeless stuff to rotate though: Wenger AT, Clipper AT, LM  Knifeless Fuse, Rebar and Style PS, several different Vic Jetsetters, a modded Tomo where I ground the blade off to get on airplanes unnoticed, and a modded Pioneer X where I removed the blade/awl layer and made a handy tool with just the scissor and opener layers.

-Wes.
Work EDC: LM Raptor/Bladeless Pioneer X Mod

Weekend EDC: LM Free P2 or Vic Pioneer X/Vic Rambler/Olight I1R EOS Pro Ti/ Atwood R37Pry

These days I focus on collecting oddball Pharmacy/Medical Advert Victorinox Classics.

Sorry, can't help, I've got a letter from my doctor saying I have to carry a pocket knife.  :D

I've got a letter from mine saying, "Take seven of these" [with you all day]. He said other people need me to carry blades.

I know.  My favorite SAK model just with a file instead of a blade.

Fantastic mod that would pair well with a dedicated blade or plier based multi outside of the challenge too  :tu:

Package opening grind on the combo tool?

I have done the grind on this combo tool yet, but it will have it.

The pairing with a blade is one thought I had, because I almost always have one on me in addition to my SAK or MT.

Yes, it is.  I’m getting excited to give my new bladeless SAK a run.

I've decided to go with my Deluxe Tinker for this, seeing how I'll carry other stuff for the other challenges this year. I wish it had an in-line awl. But it'll do.

Hello Team
Day 1 here in NZ.
I bought a knifeless Rebar for my UK and Europe travels but have never opened the package because I can't go anywhere !!
Well I could go but it is very expensive and then when I get home it is a compulsory 2 weeks in quarantine compliments of the government.

Anyway this is my pic for day one. The Micra scissors to cut open the clamshell and set the Rebar free.
Should be a good month.

I don't have any bladeless tools, so I won't be in on this with you all .. but I'll be on the sidelines cheering you on.
