DAY 14  I was checking and topping off the air pressure in my tires.  I went a little overboard filling one, and wondered if there was something on the Champ that would work.  Score one for the scaler.  :tu:

It would've been faster letting the air out if you had just punched the awl through the side wall, but I suppose the fish scaler did an acceptable job.

Day 15
I used the wood saw today… to comb my hair! I forgot my comb and I noticed my hair was pretty messy when I got to work. At first I tried using the fish scaler, but it’s teeth were too thick and blunt. So I very carefully tried the wood saw. It actually worked! It helps that my hair is pretty thick, and I had to use very little pressure, otherwise I would’ve plowed furrows into my scalp!

It’s not as dangerous as it sounds. As long as your hair is thick enough (like mine—I need to get a haircut soon), the saw teeth are too short to reach through the hair to scratch the scalp.

I’ve also combed my hair with a Leatherman Wave saw before, so I knew how to do it safely.

The saw is not an ideal comb, obviously; because the teeth are so short, they will only comb the top layer of hair.

Do you prefer rubbing alcohol or Zippo juice for removing that residue? I just use whatever's closer!

I discovered rubbing alcohol for de-gunking last year and have been using it since then. I've got 70% isopropyl.

Someone had told me once that WD-40 works, but I never had much luck with it.

Day 15

No uses today so settling for a glamour shot in the sun.

I think I mentioned before that this is my only SAK with translucent blue scales and I wasn't sure about them at first. I bought this particular SAK as I wanted a Champion Plus with the original magnifier. I figured I could always swap out the scales. But they're growing on me! They do look good in the sunlight.
