Some genius in the packing dept. figured it was okay to send Mr. Crunch in his original cardboard box along with no tamper tape a UPS label and a USPS label stuck right to the cardboard.    :o :twak:

That's no outer box that is the box.

Mine arrived the exact same way.  I was very disappointed because I wanted to keep the box in my collection.

Mine were delivered by UPS with an outer box.  I must be special.

I think that Mr. Steve ordered two as well but I could be wrong about that.

If you are careful you can remove it with a hairdryer by heating up and carefully peeling.

Well done on the hairdryer.  I haven't used one of those in 40 years, except to apply Talon grips to a new gun.   :ahhh

Mine just arrived with no "outer" box as well.

Very interesting piece! Few little cosmetic flaws in milling/casting around the pliers, but not totally unexpected given its Garage provenance. As this is my first time touching a Free-based tool, still getting used to its deployment, but it's all quite clever. Actual functionality TBD obviously.

Garage 005 has been announced. It looks like a white 40th anniversary tool.  Comes with a MagnaCut blade.

It looks like the ARC drawings I found on that Korean website, but with white cerakote.

Thanks  :hatsoff:  I posted more pics on the second page.

The one disappointing thing about Garage #5 is that it still has the flathead-awl of the Free series.  I can understand doing that on the Free series that didn't have a small bit holder, but Garage 5 and the ARC have a small bit driver - there is no need to put a flat head on the awl

I actually really do appreciate this Garage #5, all the tools selections are sensible and layout so much better than the Free P4 (which I think is a not very thought out at all, and a total waste to the new platform with good potential).

This is what a 'real' Free P4 supposed to look like, don't worry about the Magnacut or the cerakoat, just release this with the S30V and usual stainless, and this will be the next LM classics.

LM personnel, if you are reading, please read the comments on your youtube channel, I am not the only person asking for the regular release of this.  I think almost most, if not all, would prefer this over P4.

It looks like they had extra parts left over. I wonder if Leatherman intends to cancel the P2 and/or P4 and had some parts to use up so just mates it with Arc parts.
