Sure is. I wish I still had the one I was given upon my PCS (permanent change of station) from USS Lake Champlain. Never mind that it had the word "ingenuity" spelled incorrectly...

That is better than have something with the actual ships name spelled incorrectly, although lots of people loved to spell “TRUXTUN” incorrectly.

They are not nearly as hot as some other chips I’ve tried.  The ironic thing is that Herr’s has some Red Hot chips that are listed as “medium heat” but are hotter.

Day 11: Got a new camping stove and tried it out.  It's from Hikpeed, and it will burn anything you put into it.  The saw cut wood and the pliers were great for dealing with hot parts.  I used the main blade to peel bark off for a fire starter.    That coffee pot dates from 1905.

So I contacted Swiss Knife Shop where I purchased my MXBS and explained the clumping issue i was experiencing and they are sending me a replacement tool today. Sounds like the spring might be faulty. Good news is I can keep using this tool until I get my replacement and I don't even have to pay for shipping to return the defective unit. Have to say they have provided me with some great service and I will order more from them.

Day 11

Doing some housekeeping and getting rid of some clothes that no longer fit. These shorts also had their pockets fixed so many times you can hardly call them pockets anymore  :D
Used the blade to take off the buttons. You never know when you need replacement buttons.

Great job everyone!  Any issues or insights Swisstool or Spirit wise?  I know that, jeans or pants wise, the Swisstool works well.  Shorts?  Just a tad heavy.  I really can't argue with the weight, though.  It's almost a complete toolbox.  Heartwise, I love the Swisschamp and Workchamp.  I know my way around them in the dark.  Brainwise, it's hard to beat either Swisstool.  I plan on swapping out for the Spirit next month on a challenge for me.  The tool sets are very similar, and I don't mind the slightly lighter weight of the Spirit.  I love the feel, though, of the full size tool.  I'm still having fun with mine!

Agreed! I like the sleek feel of the Spirit models. I might try and join you on another 30 day for the Spirit as I am not necessarily going to be traveling - but that might ramp up making challenges a challenge with flights.

Day 11

OK - used my ratchet to tighten some new door hardware - love the thin profile and makes it easy to tighten the screws without damaging the knob...beats the little L style drivers too, in my opinion. Here are some pics of my tools and the ratchet set as well.
