How secure are those Kwik studs?  It seems to me that pushing against it would loosen it and you'd have to tighten it frequently.

Day 09
I used the 112 Slim Pro to remove the safety seal from a pill bottle.

Day 09:

Ranger opened up some antibiotics for Adventure Girl--still a few more days to go, but she's doing well.

Ranger then was used to dice up some treats to help the medicine go down. I noticed some of the little slices showed a little drag. Sure enough, close examination revealed a slight burr. A quick stropping took care of that.

Eagerly awaiting treatment.....

I'm pretty sure I used some Loctite on the screw, and none of them have moved since.  There's a different type that came on a used 110, and I can't get it off.

Day 9, yard work.

I thought I got an in-use pic, but it didn't show up.

I had these three on me--with the Micro LST being the "knife I had on me when I got my sorry rear out of bed" tool that is mostly for opening breakfast.

Needed to clean all kinds of grass that had clogged up and stalled the "probably underpowered for 3.5 acres" Craftsman walk-behind and I used the PST to pull off the spark plug boot so it didn't crank-start itself. The yard is weird in that there are a LOT of areas that are sketchy on a riding lawnmower; so I just push mow most of it.

Day 9

Opened a few boxes with the Ranger at work today. Got a load of heating/cooking wood today. It makes a nice backdrop.

Day 9
The Ranger helped with feather some wood for a mini campfire.  It was doing such a nice job, I just kept cutting extra to keep in my wood tin

Finally finish the paper lantern for the little guy just in time, and he liked it so much that he didn't want to bring it to school for "show and tell".  Keeping the 112 sharp was instrumental for all the cutting tasks.
That looks very cool.  Great little project.

The TRUTH will always find the LIGHT!

Why not include the 110 in your picture, it is a big brother to the Ranger.

I am still impressed, just ONE 110?
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Day Nine

Happy Weekend! Today was Friday meetings day so ole Slim had a lot of pocket time today. So light you forget it is there.

After nine days let's see how the Buck Slim is holding up.

Blade is still poppin sharp, no blade wobble, clip is still super tight. Still going strong. No real complaints so far on the Buck Ranger 112 Slim. At 29.99 it's a steal.

In Shaq's hand that is not a chicken wing, it's probably a turkey leg.  I'd be surprised if anyone in England is a fan because I'd assume they would all be terrified that he would grind their bones to make his bread.

DAY 10  Pencil sharpening duty.  The 112 did OK, but bit into the graphite and pulled out at 3/4" of graphite.  Not the 112's fault, because that's all that was in that end of the pencil.      Like getting a Twinkie with no filling in the middle.
