Do you carry the fixed blade via the belt loop?  I never can get use to having the handle above the waistline, and find a daggler quite handy for the setup, especially when I am sitting down.

Very nice!  Surprised how much you could achieve with just a SC! :tu:
I do sometimes, but usually I prefer crossdraw or horizontal.

It doesn’t bother me that much as long as the handle does not stick up that far above the belt.  But I am use to carry things on my belt that stick above the belt due to carrying a radio frequently in the Navy and sometimes a handgun.

I have a custom crossdraw sheath on order for the Mountaineer which I am looking forward to.

Day 19
The new pouch came in and other than the slot pockets being tight, I think it is going to work nicely.  Only changes other than pouch was adding some green in the form of Spydie Salt, Voyageur and BR Essential.

Slow day today.  I only had need of a toothpick and used the one from the 58mm Classic SD.

Yeah, I cut the horizontals on the hand-holes at the top, sawed through the wooden pole (no idea what that used to be), used the file to finely soften all the rough sanded edges, awled some pilot holes (yes, I know I didn't have the awl out. I forgot), and every screw was driven in by hand using that in-line Phillips. Might have used the blade and chisel a bit, too.

Anyway...

Day 18

I had to do a bit of reconstruction for this one:
This is the Joby GripTight ONE Micro Stand for smartphones:

[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

It's a simple C-clamp that extends under spring pressure, to grip the sides of your phone. What makes it cool is that there's a folding tripod attached to the underside, so you can precisely position your smartphone for easy viewing. The tripod attaches using a standard ¼" camera threaded screw, so it will support small and small-ish SLRs, DSLRs, and other stuff with such a screw socket!

I usually have it set up in the evening so I can watch the ToddlerCam, but it also folds up small enough (see my Day 1 photo back on Page 4) to fit in a single stack .45ACP 1911 magazine pouch, which is why I EDC it. Comes in handy sometimes, if you need a screen displaying something and want your hands free. I used to watch episodes of stuff when I was in the workshop.
The reason it's been recreated here with my old phone is that I have the larger version to fit my larger Galaxy S21, but that's also what I use to take these photos in the first place!

Rear view:

Bonus content!!

I put a new polycord lanyard fob on my Classic SD, which meant cracking out that lighter to burn the ends down:

[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
Love those Joby tripods, comes in really handy especially when you just want a group photo or making timelapse. :tu:

Nice photos and loadouts, y'awl! :tu:

Day 19

The usual changes to the loadout occurred today. I awlso changed the 58mm SAK and added a Gerber Mullet, just for the heck of it.

[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
The inox Opinel is nice, though I do collect (and sometimes use) my traditionals, my OCD still constantly want to keep the carbon blades from developing patina. :D

Looking forward what you think of the new sheath.  I love the idea of having a lightweight fixed blade and sheath that doesn't profile under a shirt.

Powernoodle Day 20

I recommend carrying one or two of these in the pocket, and keeping more in the vehicle.  As with a light or a Sharpie, you don't realize how much you need these things until you start carrying them.   Super handy for everything from cleaning phone screens to sticky fingers to cuts and scrapes.

I don't even worry about that anymore. Patina looks better than rust!

Super handy for everything from cleaning phone screens to sticky fingers to cuts and scrapes.
Not to mention tape gunk that builds up on knife blades!

Changed out 91/93mm and pen...
Sweet scales on that one! :like:

No changes to the loadout...just a photo of Alox and hornbeam goodness for today.

I haven't carried a fixie in over a week due to a work restriction, but I'm missing my fixies. So, today's picture is my EDC flashlight, the Nitecore P-12, and one of my favorite fixies, the CRKT HUNT'N FISCH.

Very nice and very affordable too! I picked up a pack of Clinnell single wipes a while back, but they're so tall they don't fit in a lot of places nicely.

Apologies I haven't been as present recently, I'm so glad you're all hanging in and carrying heavy! Whilst I haven't had the time to take pictures and keep up posts recently due to work, I have maintained my carry. I'm not going to flood a bunch of pictures, because I don't have them, and it's been to long. So instead I'm picking up where I left off:

Day 17

The rotated items for today, I should really get a neat hand gel dispenser or another watch or something...

Knife: ZT 0550 w/ custom CF and copper scale, the reverse side is ano'd purple
PB MT: Style PS
91mm: Explorer Plus with glow lite
84mm: 2017 LE Cadet
58mm: Sunshine Classic
Light: Olight i5T Plus in Neutral tint
Pen: Olight O'Pen Pro
Fire: Matte black Zippo with Zippo brand torch insert
Fidget: Rotablade Pendulum
Hank: SAK pattern by EDC HNK

Thanks.  I love the BR Essential.  Big Idea Designs does make some nice quality pens.  They even have a fountain pen design.  Some people find the mini too small, but it fits my hand nicely.

Thanks! Opinels are great. Good quality, yet inexpensive enough that I wouldn't shed too many tears if I lose or break one.

Day 21

Awlmost half the loadout changed today. The items that rotated in are accompanied by the unsung hero of this challenge. Before the Farmer X rotated out, it helped shorten the ends of the Fieldmaster's fob. The Mullet helped remove a staple.

Mountaineer cuts open a new pack of energizer li AAA.  They are pretty long lasting, and since they never leak, it does save me in a long run.

Day 21 Bonus

Some packages arrived, and the green Alox Bantam got the call to open them. I tried the hand sanitizer, which is essentially isopropyl alcohol in a gelatinous state, to remove the tape gunk. It did the job, but was very messy. Regular 91% isopropyl alcohol or Zippo fuel is a better bet.

I find it works best with a little hand gel in a tissue, drawing the blade through it a couple times. Cleans well without excess gel, that's how I cleaned off one of my knives after I got it covered in BBQ sauce for the challenge

Did a little swap out of MT (back to the Spirit), flashlight (Lumitop EDC), and the memento/fidget (USAMadeBlade Bottle Opener Coin).  I also switched back to my Mission Wallet.  The new pouch , although looked great, was just too stiff and tight.
