I haven't carried my SwissChamp in so long, I've forgotten how many layers it even is. Soooo.....

That sounds good. :climber:

Hey yawl!! I think i may have been a bit overambitious when signing up for the challenge  in reality i wont be able to take part besides maybe a couple of loose days here and there, so sadly i will have to sign out.  :ahhh  I will follow the challenge with warmth in my heart tho since the swisschamp is my favourite MT ever  :SAKnight: :2tu:

I feel you.
The hard part for me, as I already shared, is the daily picture, not the challenge in itself. I don't carry a smartphone and so taking pictures means using someone else's phone and is an extra difficulty. It has happened already that I do the challenge and have to drop out because i'm two or three days late. I do carry the tool, NP, but no pics to complete the task. I guess I'm paying my independence from the tech.
This being summer, I have more opportunities to find ways to take pics, so I hope it'll work this time. My first challenge with a SAK, too.

My reality is an autistic one with ADD so committing to a challenge like this, no matter how fun i paint it do be in my mind, i know it would take to much of my energy to keep it fun. Ive been a long time lurker of the server and now that i recently joined im all about it. But im sure i will come and go in waves when it comes to my activity here, some periods i may post a lot and others i will lurk again.  👀🙃
I wish you the best in the challenge friend and looking forward to seeing everyones swisschamps on the daily 💜

I’d like to join.  I may have to make up a day or two.  I’ll be busy the rest of today polishing my 7 layer unit.

Yes, the challenge is good only if fun.
No problem in coming and going in waves. There are only friends here, no one counting.

However, seeing the flag on your account, can I interest you in a possible EU GAW box : https://forum.multitool.org/index.php?topic=92361.new#new:D

Day 1

An Amazon order came. I noticed I could not close the building door so I look and the darn thing was three screws short. I found one tiny screw on the ground and replaced another. Now to find a matching small one in my parts box.

Day 1:
Ugh, I can't believe it's August already. Only a few weeks of summer vacation until school starts again. And we will spend most of that moving. Since we are moving, we aren't taking the trampoline with us so we sold it. Used the hook on my SC to take the springs off. Works so much better than the tool provided with the trampoline. Also used the pliers to loosen knots and straps used to tie the safety net around the outside.   [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Day 1: SC Magnifying Lens

Starting two things today: this 30-day challenge and a captivating new book.
Thankfully, the trusty Swiss Champ has a magnifying lens that helps me with some of the book's finer prints.

Day 1:

I’m really excited about this challenge. After years of carrying a SwissChamp, and then having recently been bitten by the alox bug, it feels good to go back to an old faithful. I’ll be carrying the latest model SwissChamp for this challenge, with a glorious set of red Micarta scales.

Day 01

My trusty Swiss Champ XLT. My most used tool since almost 7 years. Got it really cheap back then. Only 96 Euros.

It went on top of mount Etna in Sicily, to China and on almost every vacation ever since.

Used it a lot, but it still looks new.

Hauled the SwissChamp today and the red Reylight Rook flashlight. It's great just grabbing the SC and having everything that i need for the day  :salute:

used the pen for a shopping list and the flathead on the cap lifter to loosen a screw on some antique drawer pulls i was installing for the wife.

TOOLS USED:
✅ Pen
✅ Flathead on cap lifter

Day 1

Used the Workchamp XL today. Scissors quirked great, like other SAK scissors.  This is one of the tools I will be using this month when I am home.

Wonderful pictures so far!

Some swiss champs, a beautiful Work Champ XL... And those wooden scales!

@MrToolJunkie The XLT has the right combination of most used tools for me: Cap lifter, scissors, pliers, fish scaler, bit driver.

@BuzzBait Of course  :climber:

Had to fix my eyeglasses this morning.  Left the corkscrew out to help steady the SAK in my hand.  Used the magnifier so I could see the frame screw.  I really should get some spare glasses.

Used the Workchamp XL today.
You have failed to convince me that I don't need a 111mm. :D

It's pizza day!
Looks pretty good, though I would have passed on the green stuff.
