I can't take credit for the wear and tear on this little folder.  From the looks of it, I'd bet it has some stories to tell.   The blade modifications may have been intentional to make the knife more useful for whittling or twig carving.  On the other hand the small blade may have broken then the remaining stub ground into a useful shape.  The long blade may have gotten that curved shape from the over zealous use of a small diameter sharpening rod.

Either way the condition and of this knife spoke to me, so I payed the $2.00 and took it home.  It does work pretty well for whittling.

How's it going guys?

I haven't posted a picture of my EDC in a long time. And I can't necessarily say that all of the stuff is well used. I'm going to attach a picture, but basically here's the rundown:

Handkerchief-has a crap load of uses, and I seem to use it more than anything else, keys, wallet, Bic lighter along with a habit that I am struggling to quit but haven't been able to cowboy up yet, iPhone 3gs in an otterbox case, Fenix LD10-love this flashlight, its very handy to have, but I am not sure that I need to have a flashlight everyday, Kershaw Skyline, Case Peanut-most of the time I'll carry it because it's so small, I can tuck it anywhere and forget its there. Never gets in the way.

The other tools that I have pictured are kind of rotated, but they aren't well used because I currently don't need to carry a multi tool for the next month or so until my new job kicks in. Then one will be very handy to have around. But, I have a Victorinox Tinker, Leatherman Skeletool CX, and a Leatherman Charge TTi.

No matter if I need the extra tools or not, my beer is very important to me, so I always work a bottle opener into the EDC. I can do the Bic lighter trick, or even use my knife, but most of the time the Skeletool is carried anyway for that reason. Its much easier to use for a bottle opener, and I really like the opener on it. The pliers and the drivers are a bonus though. It just comes down to wether I feel like pocketing it for the day.

Ear plugs are carried for the job, and I usually have a pair of nice, tinted sunglass/safety glasses with me always.

Let me know what you think if you feel like doing so.

Much appreciated.

I kind of posted in the wrong thread. Feel free to delete if you feel the need to. I have reposted in the correct thread.

But, in my defense, the only thing that's not well used here is that camo charge. I have just started carrying it on and off.

The rest of the stuff, pretty worn and carried every single day.

Looks new, but hey, I keep my stuff in the right pockets and they dont conflict with each other.

I really like that PE salt 1. I had always meant to pick one up in black, but I never bit the bullet.

Im sure that price has come down on those quite a bit.

I may be king of the shelf queens, ;) but I've got a few heavy users too. Chief EDC on the weekends is a BO Super Tool, with about 150,000 miles on it
