Nice shots of the MT18 CPM110V chris. I was blessed to get two of those. I have not messed with them much yet. They are well made for sure. The MT18 should hold an egde till the cows come home.    :D

I like the look of the Manix. I don't care for the overly broad leaves or the raised Spyderhole on some models. The lines are much more defined on the Manix, Native, etc. in my opinion.  :tu:

I've bought some Spydies in the past, mostly limited editions such as Viele, Herbst, Centofante, Wegner,Scott, Terzuola,Lum ect.,ect.I slowed my purchase of Spydies some years ago but I had to have this Vallotton.

Here is the Vallotton that I bought last year.

Here is a picture of the spine and bolster. This blade is considerably thicker than most Spydies.

Here are my Spyderco's.  I recently got the Blue G10 Ambitious which is pretty cool little knife.  I've been carrying my Tenacious mostly for work and the Ambitious for off days.

NOT mine, but OH HOW I WISH IT WAS!

The knife dealer I've been going to lately has been taking care of me. So I recently ordered a Manix 2 with G10 handles. I wanted a satin finish one for myself, but all he had was the black coated version, so I scooped it up for my brother-in-law's upcoming birthday.

My first time handling/seeing a Spyderco in person. THAT'S A WHOLE LOT OF KNIFE FOR THE PRICE. The handle design, the materials, the blade steel. OMFG I HAVE TO HAVE ONE NOW!!

Why am I such a good gift giver? I could... you know... just keep it for myself...

I would hold out for a satin blade myself. But if you decide to keep it, I won't tell  :-X

I plan to sawman, I don't really care for black coated on my hard working knives. It's not detrimental, but the friction difference between satin and black on heavy duty cutting irks the smurf out of me. Almost like nails on a chalkboard.

It's just a matter of waiting for my guy to get one in at an affordable price or caving in to paying the higher premium to the Bay of Thieves...
