Just received a Pioneer X. Surprisingly heavy, and I don't care for the reversed nick on the scissors.

This is my latest also, and I agree on both points. However, I have carried it enough for the nick issue to become less noticeable, and the weight isn't too bad compared to the Spirit that I pocket carry. I did remove the keyring attachment which makes it more pocket friendly, but my factory no KR Climber still has more tools in a lighter package and pocket carries better overall. As much as I like the Spartan and Pioneer, the scissors mean the Climber and Pioneer X will always get way more carry time.  :)

One thing I didn't anticipate was having my Climber's scissor nick memorization being corrupted. Now I'm a little slower on the draw! :ahhh

I like these grippy scales a lot. So much so that the older scales on the Outrider/Workchamp just look dated to me. If they made a Workchamp with new scales I would buy one instantly.

Buy a Workchamp and some grip scales and make one yourself ;)

I'm very tempted to do that (if it's possible) but I'd lose the lock and the chunky bottle opener... so I think I'll wait for Victorinox to come round to their senses and build it for me!

Just got a used Wenger, but the previous owner said he used olive oil to lubricate it.  The knife is in great shape but smells rancid, even after some soap and water.  Going to let it soak.
