That's not a problem Chrissy, it's not a legality issue as it won't be "street" carry. It's just that locks frustrate me, so now I've got a 111mm SAK that's not annoying  :D

Some more.  :salute:

Settler - Red (keyring)
(Image removed from quote.)

If I knew you were going to make them look that good I'd have charged you more!  :D How is the settler holding up; did it just need a little oil?

Yep, all good.  :salute:
I gave it a really good clean then the Vic oil worked it's wonders.
Both blades close with a nice snap now.
Thanks again!

Just looking for the Settler and Pioneer model with no keyring now.  :ahhh

At the same time Al picked up his now slippy 111, I also got a 01 soldier. All it took was a nod from Chrissy to confirm that the price was good for it. My first full sized Alox model.

It's an Asian-only series. Picked up the last couple from a dealer in Taiwan advertising on French ebay. Talk about convoluted ways of getting stuff. Unfortunately he can't get any of the Chinese zodiac knives (dragon, tiger, etc.)

Thanks...got them for a steal, initially intended for mod...but wife convinced me to hold onto them...if you don't sleep much, you can grab a good deal...the opposite of the crazy price thread.

We never see anything in 84mm over here since ebay banned us from playing... will it be a user for you or mod fodder for some 84mm alox?

Was going to have scissors added to bantam for my wife until she realised the potential value of both (potential because it all depends on who is on ebay...just saw a NIB woodsman go for only $56) so now they'll both be safe queens.

Not many have heard of the Interlock model. It is shown and identified in the 1991 Wenger catalog that is in the SAKWicki. It does not say much about the lock or its mechanism. The only reason I know more about it is I have a couple of Scouts models, 1 that is broken, so I saw how it works. Chako has one of the Scouts models and has posted it here in the Swiss Forum.  :salute:

PS; I also posted a photo over in the SAKWicki and it has now been added and has its own SAKWicki page now. Go to the series page and see the Wenger Dynasty series section for the link.

No pics yet, but I was bequeathed a Tinker by Jerseydevil, which is my VERY FIRST swiss army knife.

And... my friend just gave me his pre-1991 Explorer.

Now my second SAK.

Yes, I had 13 Multitools, and not one Swiss Army Knife.

I just scored a Rambler and Minichamp from ebay. TSA seizures.

The Rambler went for $7.76, and the Minichamp went for $9.50. $4 to ship the pair of them. :)

I think the money I saved buying these two knives compared to new has paid for all of the Victorinox Classics I forgot on my keys and lost to the TSA myself!
