Recently North Man posted a Danish catalog that identified this model as an Oberst. About the same time one showed up on ebay. An interesting variation on the Monarch.

A brass lined CT34. It gained a little weight. I get 155g for a factory one and 198g for this one.

That's a great looking SAK!  Are they still available, or did you just get lucky to find one?

I liked your brass scale mod too.  You have a really good website, adding it to the links page on SAKwiki.

Some great looking stuff showing up here: Gron Woody Yeoman and brassy CT34. Beautiful knives and outstanding work!  :tu: :tu:

That Glauser Camper is interesting. Is that part of a series? Nice display, by the way.  :tu:

I just got lucky... I know someone who has a lot of Vics for sale. I saw this one a few days ago and I bought it together with a Cybertool 34. About adding my blog to the links page.... Thanks! I'm honored!  :salute: The mod, to me, is a great achievement, but when I see all the great professional mods here I feel humble, so thanks for the nice words!

I guess it isn't part of a series, but there isn't much information on this knife. One of the few sites I've found shows the knife solo, so... If I'm wrong, please tell me, because I love to find some more information...

A brass lined CT34.

Exudes class this one. Very well chosen combination of materials and colors. The black Cellidor looks some black Bakelite of yesteryear.

(not saying that Celluloid, what Cellidor is based on, is even older)

That Glauser design looks a bit like optical crystallography samples.

They call it "camouflage" but it does look like this... A bit chaotic, but nice...

Was looking at photos of the Blackout 63 and kept seeing tweezers & toothpick. Wenger's Blackout was not so obvious; black on black, cleverly hid. Grabbed a flashlight to find the rascals, the lanyard loop was covering up their hiding spot.  ;)  Sneaky!

  Right There!
