apart from some speSmurfpillsed apps I also use:

Evernote (great for notes during meetings etc, uploads them when you get internet)

Graphing Calculator

Offline dictionaries

Unit Converter (Good general and speSmurfpillsed units)

QR Barcode scanner

Photo translator OCR

and apart from the ususal games:
Offroad Legends

Speed racing

Real racing, though it is not very stable yet

NFS most wanted

Dirt road trucker 3D

Using an app called Duolingo to re-learn French. It's free, has a ton of languages, and it's apparently very well regarded.

+1... it's an app I'd use on my Nexus and not my phone, but it's not compatible with such modern devices

today the Facebook app appears to be epically broken after update... what a horrible day to roll out an update. The play page is loaded with bad reviews dated today.

I have 3.3 on the phone and it works ok, not good, just ok. Very slow at times and buggy . I hope the next version is better though.

I had that happen on a couple of apps before but usually an uninstall and reinstall helped.

Regretfully there's no 3rd party app for FB. If it sucks, you have to wait till they update it again and pray it sucks less.

The thing that really bugs me is that there are apps for phones I wish were also available as a desktop version, but it seems no one is writing apps for computers nowadays.
