Day 16

Queen Gunstock Jack in curly zebrawood. This is a decent knife, my big complaint though is that the corners (the bolsters and the tangs) are pretty sharp. It got dark before I could take a photo on the picture rock, so here it is with my carry for today: SwissTool, Olight M18 Maverick, and Casio GW-M850.

Weird side note: I noticed yesterday that my two Queen knives, both in this curly zebrawood, have left yellow marks on the shelf liner where they sit. With no other knives have I seen that. Must be whatever they treated, sealed, or polished the wood with.
May it be as the Pattern has chosen.

Case "Mini Hawkbill" again today:

Case 62031 LHR (Camillus made) 4 Dot 1984 by cody6268, on Flickr

Since today is my last day of college for four days (I only go Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), I had the time to clean up the 89OT this evening. I'll likely carry it tomorrow.

That mirrors the experience I've had with nearly every Queen I've handled.  Very sharp tangs.  I tend to go with patterns that have more rounded bolsters though.

I reckon this has been my favourite challenge of the last couple of years, because of the fantastic variety of knives carried.  Keep posting the great pics everyone.

Day 17
Canal Street Boy's knife 3 1/4", 440C & African Zebra Wood.
CSC was a favorite for me, they hid the tang well and like their barlow didn't use half stops. Stainless liners were also a plus.
They were always smooth as silk.

That awesome Dean...hate that I missed out on the CSC's when they were more affordable.
