Day 12

(Image removed from quote.)

And a bonus, Richartz, Solingen with a Moose seeing as there were reference to Mooseseses yesterday, this is not an entrance to the carving competition as i "carved" it with a scroll saw so that would be cheating  i couldn't see how to make it 3D with the saw nicely so i will finish it by hand with the knife, well..at least give it eyes and a nose  :tu:

Vintage Fuzz Day 12

I've been on the hoof all day, didn't even have time to make dinner, so fish suppers (fish n chips) all round it was. Everyone is happy including Mr P my pusscat... and even the neighbours pusscat.  :tu:

Cant go wrong with fish and chips  :tu:

Well the moose carving went well till the leg fell off     2 things learnt, i'm not a carver and mahogany is probably not the best choice of wood to try it with..now where did i put the glue  :D

Oh and btw, i have never seen a moose in my life, i'm kinda winging it here..i think this one will end up looking like a cartoon moose, a three legged one at that

I know. How you finding Wee Soddy?

I just love it. The jigged bone scales do not just look good, they're a pleasure to handle.
And it's great for whittling too  :pok:

... picture taken somewhat before my Vic. Spirit got jealous and acted up against me...

I'm finding that, for most of my days, a blade really is all I need.  How do you guys feel?

For the challenge, all I'm carrying is the Grohman with a classic on my key ring solely for the toothpick, the scissors have been tempting but I've resisted and I miss the opener layer.
Before SAKs I really abused my pocket knives with lots of poking, prodding and prying, that's why I'm so fond of the two opener layer  :ahhh
