Making pizza sauce. The BAK's can opener is surprisingly capable. It provides a lot of leverage and a very aggressive profile. Opening a can was child's play.

Day 14

Used the Pioneer to push some painters tape under the base boards (Prepping them for sanding and painting).
I prefer the Pioneer over a regular screwdriver for this job, because of the thin profile. I removed the keyring after a while, it started to annoy me.

MP400 cut some tape so i could mask the corners precisely.

Can opener applied some pull on a screw that was turning loose in the wall. Whoever installed those brackets decided wall anchors were a waste of time

Day 15 - half way mark

Chopped up some mushrooms with the bantam. Discovered you can dry fry them without oil and it still concentrates the flavour, came out really well, probably better than with oil. I know water is supposed to be even better but I like them more this way. Being on the weight loss challenge too I’m trying out different methods

The Bantam is a nice cuter. So nice that my mom cofiscated mine for her use. (I'm very happy with it. It's her first SAK)

I've ground the keyring attachment off a few SAKs.  Now, reading your statement, I have the urge to grind off a few more....

:D I would like the clean look and feel of it, but had no idea how to carry them. Without a suspension clip they always end up horizontally in my pocket. Which i hate too. I need a foldable key ring like on the Tech Tools  :pok:

Wow!  Almost halfway through and I feel like time is going too fast.

Most of the edc did not see use.  The Yeoman did help with a critical task today.  I only had the wrong size coffee filters, so used the scissors to trim the ones I had to a smaller size.

That's been my experience too Sherry.  More than anything else, I use a knife blade, pen, pad and phone.  My Spirit had seen little actual use so far.  I can guarantee, though, that about the time I don't have it I'll need a Philips screwdriver or pliers
My phone died the other day, so I wound up substituting it with an identical model.  If it wasn't so much fun, I could probably get away completely fine with one of my carries and my phone.  I just like having a pen (plus scales maybe?) and pad (old habit!).  Having a one hand opening blade sure comes in handy, which makes that one hand opening Spirit attractive.  Being almost Winter, carrying multiple items isn't a big deal.  Summer time?   Perhaps just the Executive with my keys, wallet, and phone.  The Yeoman, Swisschamp, or even the mighty Minichamp cover multiple requirements without involving a ton of weight and space.  Then again, if it came down to practicality, we wouldn't have nearly as much fun carrying all of these great toys!

Funny how that works.  My wife has claimed a Pioneer X for kitchen use and a Super Tinker with Yosemite scales for other uses.  She has also claimed two of my flashlights.  I love it because she now understands the utility.   She makes comments to me when she sees people struggling to open packages or other things about how if they had a SAK in their pocket it would be so much easier.

Day 15

Been a pretty busy day working at home, but nothing winds me down better than a good 'hot' pot dinner at home.  Bailout makes all the slicing and dicing job quick and easy.  I'd be doing various of challenges for most of the year and never did really get to carry a one hand opening knife for the longest time.  Totally in love with the swift flick and cut motions.

Comis, answering your question about the Zippo insert... I can't answer yet.
My gas can not arrived yet.

As soon as possible I'll fill the insert and test, and post my impressions

Thanks Hevy!  I look forward to that!   I don't smoke, but mostly just want to carry one for the fidget factor and a mean to start fire.  So I am wondering there maybe merits to go for the double burner, instead of the single one(so as long the gas does not flow as soon as you open the cap... )
