Day 4
Didn’t feel like doing much today due to a sinus headache.  So the only real use of the edc was using the Yeoman to open a bag of dog dental chews and cutting an orange.
(Image removed from quote.)
I was also playing around with the Zippo and Yeoman when I took Fisher to the Field out back, but don’t know if that really counts.
(Image removed from quote.)
I hope you get well soon!
Sinus headache is something that I know well

Thanks to your Zippo's previous pictures (on other threads) I ordered a butane insert to my Zippo.

Thanks, Hevy.

I love the butane inserts because don’t have to worry about fuel evaporation if it isn’t used often.

EDC 04 (bonus material):

One of Mrs Nix's friends sent us some frozen salmon fillets. Really nice stuff. But.....Mrs Nix isn't crazy about salmon. I'm going to turn these gorgeous fillets into salmon cakes, using some of the thyme purchased earlier today. BAK freed the defrosted salmon from their plastic containment.

(Image removed from quote.)

How's the BAK holding up for you so far?
Do you like the sheepfoot?
I do, but not for apples

Here is a shot of me salmon cakes:

They tasted better than they look.

SOS I hope you're feeling better now.

Day 04
I almost forgot to post my picture so I'm a couple of hours late.  I wrote down a reminder in my notepad.  I have a couple of paperclips in the notepad so I can always open it directly to a fresh page.

day 5: oddly this is a phone heavy day so far. we noticed that the screws weren't put in properly in the factory so the shelves are crooked and the top one doesn't close all the way. so now we have to see what the store will say about exchanging this or giving us a refund. since we cleared up the mess and are putting everything back in it's place, I am wondering about the customs in your countries during the holiday season. i have to admit that I am quite ignorant of other religions and nations in this aspect, with the lone exception being the Orthodox church, but even there my knowledge comes only from my Serbian friends and colleagues.

So what are some customs that you have?

For us it is the lighting of candles on an advent wreath for 4 Sundays before Christmas. To summarize, the candles in order represent hope, peace, joy and love.

Day 5

Put a lanyard at the back of BM Bailout, and separating the SAK from the organizer to have even faster access.  I'm liking this, no need to pull out the whole caddy, and fairly easy to put back in as well.

Vic scissors is the best, period.

I've always enjoyed a Sheepfoot. I find that I can apply more controlled pressure, with a comfortable wrist angle, than I can with....say...the upswept tip of  a clip point. I have not tackled an apple with this knife yet, but will give it a go soon.   :tu:

Again Mrs Surge decided that the west wing needed sprucing up (geddit, spruce...xmas tree  :pok: :dunno: )

Anyway, I managed to get a shot of my Fenix E01 acting as the beacon of light.

Up at silly o' clock tomorrow as no bike yet (still broken) so using public transport  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

Have a good evening all  :salute: :tu:

Sorry to hear about the problem with the shelves. That can be very annoying. When I build up the bunk bed of our son early this year I had to drill some missing holes. And they must be the correct size. At least I had a chance to solve it myself.

Btw, thanks for letting me know what the 4 candles stand for that we put up every year  :D
