Day-17
G’day mate’s, lol..
Went shopping and got me a bag of the good stuff! So much more flavor then other liquorish! I did use the FarmerX to carve and eat an apple but was too busy also helping the Mrs make mini apple caramel bombs at the same time so it was too crazy to take a pic so here’s one opening the bag,,
JR
Mini apple carmel bombs sound amazing.

Day 17.

Package duty - opening boxes, preparing boxes for return to shop (wrong stuff delivered ).
Expecting something good, only for it to be the wrong thing - That has gotta be the worst

DAY 17 :

 :hatsoff:
More smurfy goodness

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Day 17

Neighbour dropped off a parcel delivered to them by mistake - I was wondering what had happened to them! FX scissors liberate some putty type erasers.  It’ll be odd not going to the pub after work for some Guinness.....
I like that style of eraser too.  They work pretty nice.

I can understand missing the pub, but around here I learned a while ago not to go out today.  The local Irish bars are usually packed, limit their menus to only a few items yet raise the prices on everything.

Day 17

My second passion is collecting patches.

Cool hobby

OMG, the kitchen smells like wow! But you dice up a few apples into small pieces, then dump brown sugar, little caramel pieces, and cinnamon over top and mix it up, then take biscuits and flatten then rub melted butter over and a few spoonfuls of the mix, close them up use the melted butter again and wipe the biscuits to seal them, then over top so when you sprinkle more brown sugar and cinnamon it will stick, then throw it in the oven, then while it’s baking, take some more caramel and melt it, so when they come out you can dump it overtop! And there you go, Caramel apple bombs! Guess you’ll have to wait till tomorrow for pics,,

London can be a bit like that, but my local tends to drop prices on Guinness for the evening! Ah well, next year I suppose!

Received this new solid fuel tablet that I couldn’t resist trying.  The Fx helped get it out of the package and then also trimmed the end of the baddest bees tinder fuse after lighting it.

And it wouldn’t be St Patrick’s Day with a beer

Day  17

More normal boring stuff today. It was climbing night tonight, so I did some toenail trimming. Hawt!

After years of cramming awful mini pumps into my road bike's seat bag, I finally realized an easily-removed frame pump is really what I'm after. It arrived today. Because my bike's braze-ons have 5mm hex bolts in them, my Park MT-1 did the actual installing.

It supplants one of my bottle cages, but I'm actually really happy with this placement.

The flex hose is probably fine the way it is, but I happen to have some two-sided velcro left over from a project last summer, so why not just go ahead and fix everything firmly in place?

Oh no! Watch out for those sneaky scissors!

Thanks, Farmer X, for exemplary cutting in the name of two-wheeled excitement!

It took longer to type this post than to actually do this job.

Despite the bicycling-and-climbing-heavy nature of my recent posts, I assure you my current fitness level is "garbage bag filled with cottage cheese."

End: Day 17

Darn, cant remember when I had climbing shoes on the last time. Must be late summer last year.
All climbing halls closed, outdoor climbing too cold now. Cant wait for summer to happen.  :ahhh

I keep my Crank Brothers pump in the same place on my MTB - one water bottle is enough for me!

DAY 18

Today was package opening duty helping with the arrival of a Rough Rider Masonic Canoe (made in China :dwts: )

It was bought to be a shelf/symbolic type thing but, as it's UK friendly, it might find its way out in the pocket  :dunno:

Still, as it was only £18.95, what's not to like
They don't like it up 'em!
