DAY 21

Tonight was Indian food night in the house of Surge  :D
Til ke aloo (potatoes with sesame seeds) served with Murgh musallam (whole chicken baked in Aluminium Foil)

The FX checked the potatoes were done (they were) then it was time to serve and enjoy, so no hands free
Hope you've all had a great Sunday  :salute: :drink:
They don't like it up 'em!

Day-21

Bbq rib day,, me and the little guy fired up the grill while the Mrs worked the kitchen, it was just so beautiful outside so we decided to take a walk to the store and get a few things to throw on, but I guess a lot of others had the same idea because they were like OUT!
But we had a nice rack of ribs, cheddar cheeseburgers, bbq chicken strips, and a bunch of other side items, needless to say the Mrs forgot to bring out a knife to cut the ribs so the FarmerX came in handy!

Of course you can’t forget who kept sticking his nose around looking for goodie, who didn’t get any!

Day  20

I should have taken pictures of the Fx scissors trimming the new bar tape for the road bike.

Obviously, the Farmer X didn't do any of the drawing or computer manipulation for these, but it was around:

(Image removed from quote.)     (Image removed from quote.)     (Image removed from quote.)    (Image removed from quote.)

The hard part is making something that will scale down without turning into too much of a pixelated mess. It's easier to just have a simplified version for shrinking instead.

End: Day 20

I really like your v2 Jothra  :like: it's more in keeping with other MTo badges than my mock-ups, so I vote for that.
Think whatever's decided it should have "30" in the badge or they look too much like the collector badges

FX Day 21:

I've been carrying the FX on a clip, attached to the lanyard. But not today. Today, while I was lying on the couch planning the best way to tackle my next set of chores (NO, I was NOT napping....) the FX fell out of my pocket. Later I realized it was missing (so said chores couldn't be done, of course.) and found it on the couch. Slippery bugger!

The Farmer X did help with breaking down some boxes and opening a beer, but mostly just kept me company while watching some March Madness Basketball.

I don’t know everyone else’s feeling on badge, but I kinda like

Would just ask if the background could be lighter or even two-tone like

Any other opinions?

Day 22

FX saved the day this morningmaking a hole in a new belt while getting ready for a job interview I just came back from. It went abysmally.
But at least my trousers did not fall.

How about this one maybe?
Any colour suggestions and I can try and rework it a bit. I’m just using paint on my laptop so pretty basic

I think it should be something like
FarmerX
 30-Day
Or FarmerX-30 for one line
As the quote cause that’s what it is and the symbol of just the farmer above it, so it’s clear to see,, just my thoughts..

Remember that badges display in two sizes: 25x25 and 50x60 pixels. We need to work with tiny, tiny images, or they will be absolutely incomprehensible when shrunk down to the appropriate sizes.

This one degrades okay at 50x60, as long as the text gets replaced and artifacting gets cleaned up after resizing...

...but it's nigh-unrecognizable at 25x25.

Edit to add: high contrast is also your friend when things start getting small and crowded.

Just have the scissors be the X. With a color scheme that matches silver alox.
My suggestion.

It might be a good idea to sneak a saw in to differentiate it from a Pioneer X thing, but I like the basic layout just fine.

My suggestion.

What if this?

I think it's a good idea to focus on the two things that set the Fx apart from either the Farmer or the Px — namely, the saw and scissors. RP's badge is straightforward enough to resize well, and I agree with making sure to evoke alox silver (which is the default colour of the tool, after all.)

Edit to add: same thing, but with transparent corners:

Sorry to hear about the interview, ReamerPunch - hopefully the next one will go better. Great looking food SurgeUK and MP/JR .

The badge designs are coming on in leaps and bounds - very ingenious! :tu:

Thanks. It's my fault for not taking a couple of days off to prepare properly for it. I got so tired from yesterday I botched it for nothing.
