Congratulations!  Been thinking of doing the same. Just hard to do, they’re so dang pricey. And hard to find around here, lately.

More great uses everyone and the pics are of enviable quality, especially that shot on ice by Borg - a real stunner! Sorry to read about the bereavement, SurgeUK, and I’m with zrxoa1, your pic and use definitely qualify for the challenge in my opinion too! Safe journey!

Day 9

Handed a Work Champ to my lady so she’d use scissors for gift wrapping

(Image removed from quote.)
Looks like she is doing a great job!

I got a question from this picture--how do most of you prefer to hold and use your SAK scissors?  With the moving arm at top or at the bottom?

Nice photo, i could be doing with that plateful right now  :gimme:

:like: i have the same use planned for later

I haven't tried a cigar since i was about 12 but i do love the smell of them, cigar and pipe smoke have a really nice smell but i never did get into them, even though now and again i'm tempted to try a pipe, i just can't be arsed with all that faffing about getting it to light but i guess that comes with experience :tu:

Great pics Echotech!

Day 10

After my freezing ride this morning, I noticed that arms on my cycling glasses needed tightening up again - Cheesemaster 2 to the rescue, well the mini screwdriver I put on the corkscrew did to be more accurate

If not the second picture, I would have totally missed it from the first one.  Almost like playing wally. :D

Great landscape!  Too bad the focus missed the foreground SAK, there's one trick I use for this kind of situation--usually I will take a step or two back, then zoom onto the foreground person/object, more often than not, everything will be in focus at the same time.

Day 10

Not much happening today, just checking some of my knives and tools inventory, and used the outrider for cutting the tape to fix a torn tool box.  I am quite surprised how good is the Boker SAK-lookalike, quite well made, the pull is 4.5(if SAK is 5), but the steel supposedly is an upgrade(didn't get to use it just yet) and every bit is as functional.  It kinda reminded me of Wenger.

Top, as I am operating it with the thumb. Bottom would mean operating it with the index finger. I reckon that would feel awkward

Day  Outrider had several normal little tasks from opening a coffee brick to cutting a chip bag to trimming a dog chew.  It also helped with refilling and adjusting a Zippo insert

That XL is the big guy around here. So... How can I help you? Don't worry, everything will soon be allright after going through the patented sessions of electroshock therapy of our D.S.V. (Department of Strange Visions).  :D :D :D
