By the way, the small straight driver came in handy yesterday for tightening a wire connection.

Powernoodle Day 3

The Victorinox "Dual-Knife Sharpener" is a fun and utilitarian adjunct to your Supertool or Core, and carries easily in the pocket for a quick blade tuneup.

Day 3 of 30

The sun is finally peeking out in MO today.  I've decided I like the OG ST so much I'm probably going to sell off my ST200s and buy a backup.  The extra comfort of the handles and lock toggles are not worth the extra girth and complexity over the OG.  IMO, of course.  Besides, the locks tend to dig into the palm when using the inner tools and aren't really much easier to work than the OG way, except maybe with gloves on.  Benner tried to tell me that years ago, and I didn't listen.

What did Benner know ::) :D

I do  :like: the OG better than the 200 as well ;) Don't go selling them off though :ahhh you might change your mind :D

The Pulse locks don't stick out as much and therefore aren't as hard on your hands as the 200 is :salute:

He sure knew how to hit that big red button!

I'll probably sell my multiples and keep one SS and the BO.

:iagree: totally. They're easier to unlock as well.  I love the Pulse,  :dd: and feel like it's the PST (or II, really) perfected.

Great pic :like:

I'm not scared of that BIG RED BUTTON  :D

How many multiples you got :ahhh I have a few myself but I would like to see how many you have before you part with some of them :dd:

For sure the Pulse was really the PST reincarnated  :salute:

That makes the Bond the PST 3 or 3.5  :D

I have one minty ST200 SS, one minty ST200 BO, and one "user" SS that basically has no real wear to speak of on the tools, just some handle wear.  Ideally, I think it might be best to just sell my minty SS one and get a OG "user", since my only OG is in really nice shape.

That makes the Bond the PST 3 or 3.5  :D

hmm... I would actually call the Pulse the PST 3 and maybe the Bond the 3.5, actually.  The Pulse was nothing but a step forward from the PST II, but the Bond is a step forward and a step back from the Pulse in some aspects, IMO with no diamond file or locks.

The Core was a real star for me today. Saves me at least 2 trips to my van. Was able to cut a 1.25 inch PVC conduit in a location where a hacksaw would not fit, and also cut a 8 awg THHN copper conductor with no trouble.

Where have you been my whole life?

I am very happy that I joined this challenge. I have carried 2 different Chinese MTs this year that I think are either good or very good. And I have been carrying a Spirit on the weekends, which of course is great. However, this Core has been awlsome to use at work.

Yes it arrived!
So pretty. Lightweight, razor sharp, undamaged, so thin, great retention, locks solidly. What a nice little knife! :like:
The ST300 serrated blade tip did a marvelous job tracing around the bubble. :salute:

Powernoodle Day 4

I needed scissors to cut some skateboard tape for the trigger guard and extended magazine of my Taurus GX4. The ST300 had to sit this one out.
