Got my booster today. 3rd dose of Pfizer. Slightly sore arm and I'm now feeling a bit tired, but that could be because I spent a fair chunk of yesterday in the pub. :drink:

Any chance the mods could allow us to change vote? The system is locked now and I can not change my vote.

Looks fine to me, try again maybe. Unless someone else fixed it before I got here...

works Fine. I was worried of pressing "remove vote" as I thought it might remove the whole poll, since I started it.

so, dear poll participating members,
You can change your vote too, if your answer has changed!!

Poll option "No, I had Covid-19 and was told by a doctor that I do not need to be vaccinated" is weird since doctors should not be allowed to give that kind of advise.

Also, option "I had covid and needed just one single shot" is missing :tu:

At the time the poll was posted many believed that once you got Covid you would be immune.

I don't see that option. Maybe because I'm using the "old" forum look?...

Just got my booster 5 minutes ago.
Had COVID last year, then one regular shot of Pfizer and now a Pfizer booster. Which is technically not one of the poll options :)

My booster is booked for Friday afternoon.  If I have a reaction, at least I won't miss any more work.

  • Little to the right...
I have both because I would have been out of a job and not able to watch my daughter play hockey if I didn't.  They didn't want to give me my second shot because of the heart issues I had from the first shot (the reason I didn't want to get any shots), but I don't have a family doctor to see (retired last summer) to get an exemption for it, and the doctor at the walk-in clinic wouldn't give one to me, and told me no other walk-in doctor would either.

Any issues after the second one? Please don't hesitate getting help if there are.
Someone died here from Myocarditis from the vaccine. They had heart palpitations but brushed it off as caused by stress.

No, I actually didn't have any issues after the second shot.  After the first one, it felt like someone put a very hot heating pad and wrapped extremely tight around my heart.  I don't think my heart is back to 100% normal yet (had the first shot the beginning of October, second 30 days after), though my heart conditions cause an irregular heartbeat and heart palpitations, and chest pain under stress and/or intense physical activity, so it's hard to tell what's normal, and what was vaccine related.

Had my booster on Christmas Eve, and it was Pfizer this time, the previous two were AstraZeneca.  Other than the achy arm and a slight headache for a bit I didn't have any other reaction this time, which I was really thankful for seeing as it was on the 2nd of my 14 days off for Christmas.

  • Apparently it is possible to have too many tools;)
Had my booster shot yesterday (Moderna after a pair of AstraZeneca shots).  It was a relief given how much Omicron has been spreading in Oz (and everywhere else).

Zero observable symptoms so far (touch wood ! )

  • Not all those who wander are lost.
Had full doses earlier in the year, April then May. Got the half-dose booster just yesterday.
For obvious reasons, surviving Covid Pneumonia in 2020/21. Do not want to go through that life changer ever again!

The very first hospital photo was on December 28, 2020 after being granted access to my phone to reach out to the world to let them know. I wanted to see that monitor screen behind me, so took a photo. Was still going through a lot of stuff, breather machine on my face, drip lines everywhere, stuff stuck all over my torso. Was admitted to St Alphonsus on December 17th, transferred that night to the Boise VA Medical Center. 11 days had passed before I got access to my phone.

Just arrived home from getting my booster shot. It was my 3rd shot of Moderna and I don´t expect any problems.

Well, I sort of jinxed myself, didn't I !

Sore muscle at injection site (especially when I tried to raise my arm above my head), plus general fatigue.

But all in all, pretty mild anyway (and way better than getting the real 'rona).

Wife and I had our booster this morning.

I’m now astra-astra-moderna. Wife is pfizer-pfizer-moderna.

We had breakthrough infection mid January though, so there’s this feeling that the booster came late lol. Then again, my suspicion is that we caught Omicron which could even break through a 3rd dose.
