Here's the 110 with the other side of my fuzzy little nut sack.  This side is smooth.  My girlfriend likes a smooth nut sack but I wasn't emotionally ready to commit to that which is why my nut sack is only smooth on one side.  By the way, I like almonds but I'm not keen on walnuts unless they are in baked goods.

Day 16: found my missing for quite some time Buck 112LT. Bought originally for the Ranger challenge a couple of years back, and never really used much.





I am curious why the standard 112LT was discontinued.

I've been doing a lot of garden work and work around the house and not using my Bucks enough. My 2016 standard is MIA, and all the other variants are old, retired, or sprint run.  I am soon picking up a Buck 110LT (the $20 Walmart model) so I can have a beater I'm not afraid to use hard or risk losing.

I definitely think you’re right about this.  That is, the LT and Slim Select were intended as lightweight budget-friendly models, while the Slim Pro/Slim Pro TRX models are the lightweight premium models.

I still have the one I had as a kid, but it no longer fits. I have a straw Wrangler currently. I mostly just wear baseball caps, as all but a couple cost me exactly zero, so they're cheap to replace.


I buy my Moore Maker knives from a tack store in Texas, and I get their catalog a couple times a year.  I've been shocked at the prices of the brands popular in Western Wear today. Stetson, Resistol, and simliar are way out of my budget--at upwards of $200 at the least. The Wrangler was something like $30 at Tractor Supply.
