A pair of Jacks! With this hand, you start the challenge with one SAK and one Fixed blade knife.

Between Day 7 and the end of this round, you can exchange up to three (3) cards to try to improve your hand.

Because Shuya has a Queen behind his Jacks, Shuya now has the winning hand...... :tu:

King high card. Lefty, you start the challenge with one fixed blade.......

The good new is that on Day 7 you can exchange up to three (3) cards to try to improve your hand.   :D

Shuya still has the winning hand.

Hmmmmm....the deck seems to have gone cold...... 9 of Diamonds.  This means you have a well-chosen SAK to start the challenge.

Between Day 7 and the end of this round, you may exchange up to three (3) cards to try to improve your hand. But that outside straight looks awfully tempting......  :ahhh

Shuya still has the winning hand.

Ace high!  BP, you start the challenge with one (1) traditional pocket knife.

You can keep the Ace and exchange up to four (4) cards on Day 7 to try to improve your hand. But there are other possibilities.... If you discard the Ace, you ccan exchange up to three (3) cards.   ;)

Shuya still has the winning hand.....

OK....Jack High. You start the challenge with one pliers-based multitool.

Between Day 7 and the end of this round, you can exchange up to three (3) cards to try to improve your hand. There are possibilities.....

Shuya continues to hold the winning hand.

:ahhh  Pair of Kings! Shuya is dethroned!

You start the challenge with one SAK and one pliers-based multitool.

And, between day 7 and the end of this round you may exchange up to three (3) cards to try to improve your hand and secure the win.    :tu:

Between Day 7 and the end of this round, you may exchange up to three (3) cards to try to improve your hand. Decisions, decisions.....decisions......

Sos24 holds the winning hand.

Oh, another interesting hand.... Pair of 10's with an Ace. You start the challenge with a SAK and a pliers-based multitool.  :tu:

Between Day 7 and the end of the challenge, you can either hold the Ace and exchange up to four (4) cards or discard the Ace and exchange up to three (3) cards.   :dunno:

Sos24 continues to hold the winning hand.

I think I dealt everyone a hand. If I didn't, please shout out!

Also, there is still time to sit down at the table, join the challenge, and request a hand.  :tu:  But, once the New Year starts, the table will be closed!    :drink:

And...Comis....please don't forget to deal me a hand!

Wow, thats awesome.

Thanks a lot.

And I want to add something: since I live in europe the postal fees are way to high for you to send me a magnet. If you already ordered some, I would like to donate mine to someone in the US in case I make it to the end.

Nix, thank you for dealing, just opened a new deck and here is your hand at Day 0!

A high card with Queen of Spades, looks like you will be starting the new year with a fixie!  That 7, 8, 9 looks promising!

It's hard to get more traditional than a stockman, but this Stanley does mix it up a little with a serrated sheepsfoot. I believe I have 2 stockmans with the serrations. Personally, I think they'd make more sense on the spey blade, since it's kind of your "in between" blade compared to the clip and sheepsfoot, but this'll be a fun change of pace either way. Besides the interesting blade, I also love the length on this at 3.75 inches. That extra tenth of an inch compared to Case and other company's medium stockman's may not seem like much, but I think it feels a lot better in hand, while still being more pocketable than the big 4+ inchers that most companies market as a "large".

Great choices, and happy new year!

Day 0

You start the challenge with one pliers-based multitool.
:ahhh
I had these, plus a Gerber Dime (which I would save for a Daredevil Challenge), to choose from:

I chose one that doesn't have its own challenge (insofar as I'm aware). It might be a bold choice...

I’m going to have to sit this one out, as (1) I’m traveling and don’t have access to most of my tools, and (2) I’m nursing injuries to both thumbs that makes using a nail nick difficult.

I’ll be cheering y’all on, though!

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to back out too.  I'm going to be on the road for the next couple of weeks and it's going to be the Swisschamp and Executive with me.  I'll catch up with you all soon.
