Nice work on the wallet. Almost closer to one of those new fangled pocket organizers.  :tu:

Day 16

Helping my buddy out backstage for at the local high school. Decided to give the No 7 some more pocket time. It's closer to my preferred size than the No 6, but I find myself carrying the 6 more. ST300 riding shotgun, and helped "prune" some plastic trees and cut zip ties. Wanted to test carry it a bit since it'll be my main carry next month.

I only have the one 7, and it does carry well.

Your ST300, ???  Looks like a REBAR!☺️
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Day 16

Spent time inspecting my Garden model trying to determine why and correct issue for Picnic gizmos no fit.

Yet, I already had a colorful No6 in my pocket.
And, found  Frankenstein Teddy hanging in the front room and thought the colors would be good in the back room for supervision duty.

Hands on type…

You're right! I carry the ST300 more often, I think my brain just types it whenever I think "Leatherman model."

Luv the mug 🥰

I gave a young lady a Climber before she left to teach English in Madrid, Spain for contract assignment. Reminded her to not carry on her person when flying and if it dulled to sharpen easily by inverting a ceramic coffee mug and run the blade across the unfinished edge to each side at an angle a few times and it will become sharp again.

On her return two years later, she fenewed for the COVID bonus.  I asked if she still had the the Knife, she said yes and your trick was a life saver, she then explained the apartment her and two other foreign teachers were assigned was fully equipped but not every knife was dull, could not even cut butter.  She proudly said “I sharpened every knife with a coffee mug!”  “Got me out of dishwashing more than once as my roommates liked sharpe blades. “

Nice job Tony,  i need to pick up a length of leather and tap a couple of my users.

Found on the Opinels I need just long enough to fit my pinky finger into the lanyard, to help me retain hold of the knife if it would slip from my grasp.

Much nicer than the lanyard that they shipped with this 8OD. I do like the little Opi logo they put on the end though.

Day 17

I've been liking the 8OD. OHO is nice, although I know you can get a tab for regular Opis. Opened a battery package for my wife's needlepoint lamp. The serrations helped a little with the cardboard, but the teeth are almost more like saw teeth than traditional serrations.

DAY 17

Absolutely shattered today, I installed just under a mile of fencing this morning by hand.

The next door farm has changed tenant farmer they sprayed roundup over the boundary and 6 metres into my wheat crop, was not a mistake....so a fence is going in.  The No8 was used to strip remaining bark and any sticking out bits on the posts.

Now relaxing in the garden, thinking about planting some walnut trees and grafting Victoria plum bud wood on to a cherry plum tree.

awesome! I've seen people used car windows and all sorts of stuff to sharpen. When I got the mug my youngest was asking about the cup flipping, she didn't get it. So I told her about using the cup as a sharpener and it totally surprised her.
