Day 12 of 30:
Didn't take any pictures yesterday, but this little baby was put through the ringer opening popsicles for the kids. It was our 2nd 80° day of the year, and they ate just about every popsicle we had!

Not much happening today.

Still warm in the UK, so tightening a few screws on some garden furniture.

Powernoodle Day 13

I used the Micra to open some alcohol pads.  I EDC either one or two of these pads, or a couple of antibacterial hand wipes.  They are very handy for cleaning eyeglasses, phone screens and general hygiene.

Using the Micra to pull off the scales on these TSA confiscated classics.  Using the classics springs for other projects.

DAY 13

Just been crazy busy from 6am this morning clearing the last of the belongings from the downstairs ahead of the builders turning up at 9am, and then to work.

Micra had a tough job too... struggling to cut open a bag of raisins....

The Micra scissors cut like two bricks sawing through a paper towel....

....not impressed....better on cable ties and overall thicker harder material. I will try and sharpen them

It's been a crazy busy day, clearing the home...
I feel your pain. That's one of those tasks that can really feel like work.

The key ring is a feature, they say.

I find that to be a double edged sword.
:iagree: I tend to think of them as being "just there." If they're on something that sees regular carry, I find it much more useful as an attachment point for some paracord.

Had a craving BBQ...
Now you have me wondering what effect BBQ sauce would have on a carbon blade.

Not used very often and then only for pics !
I can see why. Very cool!

It was our 2nd 80° day of the year...
I'd take that. Here, we had highs in the 50s very recently.

Another great day, y'awl!

Day 13

Is it a new multi? :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

Nope!

These are my end of a trade with ToolJoe. Many thanks for a great trade! And by the way, the tip of the Micra's file did okay as a tape cutter.

Day 13

After evening meal, sitting in back yard with joying the birds chirping and hopping around between the feeders.

With a beverage, and taking note of duties for the remainder of the week. 😁

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

@FarmerX - BBQ sauce if vinegar base may have similar result as Mustard.   It would depend on other ingredients that are blended within the sauce… acids from peppers, and tomatoes could  increase the process and mix up the results 🙄
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Micras to the rescue! :tu:

Opened a new bag of cat food...
That is a very frequent occurrence in my house.

Today definitely not a user.
Way too cool! :like:

Opening a fresh bag of coffee beans.
I've all but given up on my grinder (because it's a noisy little smurfbird), but coffee is of paramount importance.

Another great day from awl!

Day 14

One of my thumbnails and a couple of fingernails were a bit raggedy. Quickly and effortlessly, the Micra's file fixed that. The tip awlso removed a stubborn speck from under one nail. I can see why it's LoopCutter's favorite tool.

There should soon be a package to open. The contents are unexciting, but necessary and past due for replacement.

@Farmer X - my grinder is a Wilfa Svart. I paid roughly £100 for it and it’s still going strong after at least eight or nine years. A little noisy, but not too bad.
It’s paired with an Aeropress and Prismo cap, and with good beans I can make better coffee than machines costing £1000 or more.

DAY 14

Another crazy busy day, I had a brief moment to put a new lanyard on the Micra, and had been using for food prep...but stupidly didn't take a picture.

So a staged photo of the start of the build...

Day 14

Opened letters at work today. I noticed a bit of a flaw, but that may be a technique issue.

I had intended to save the envelope to keep all the paperwork all together. I noticed after I put everything back in that the short blade left a jagged edge to the envelope, and it wasn’t as neat when I filed it away to deal with later.

I like having the Micras with polycarbonate shells in my collection, but I am not a fan of their actual functionality.  They wear way too easily, and they feel cheap much like a SAK with cellidor scales.   :td:

Day 14

Tweezers attempted to retrieve a tiny screw from a crevice, and failed, a magnetic tipped screw driver was successful.   Not 100% tool’s error, about 60% the large finger operator and poor approach angle.

With a few snack bites to ease the humbling event.
