Day Twenty Four of Buck

I think the 112 is my favourite Buck.

(Image removed from quote.)

I right there beside you!

Do wish more drop points are offered, I have two DP, and it is my opinion the 112 and DP blade are a perfect combination.   I would like a DP is slim select line.

I kick myself for not getting the 112LT DP when Copper & Clad offered a few years back. 😥
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Those drop points are awesome knives. I didn't know they had those until this challenge.  :like:

It is funny because I tend to prefer drop point blades, but I seem to mostly get Bucks with the clip point because I associate Buck with it.

Catch up

DAY 23

Had to sharpen the edge, I have used this knife very little compared to the Classic SAK challenge, and being S30v I thought it would hold up better...?

I do not believe the issues were on your end yesterday!

Several times through the day, 01/24,, I was unable to access the site.  And, email notifications for new posts also did not update.

Did others have trouble as well?
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Enjoying the posts here.  Some nice pix by all.  Troubles connecting with MTO on the 24th and 23rd.  Sporadic.  Also, SAKwiki is still down.  Best wishes.  G

Day 24

Read some shot show articles and looked at Buck's new stuff in the catalog. 301 and 110 peeked to make sure they weren't about to be replaced. I like the new handles one the 301, but I prefer the "bolt cutter" shield to the anvil.

Curious to see how the Range series winds up. Buck Bugout?

 :o

Where might I get a peek at the new product catalog?

Nice work. I really like alcohol stoves.  I think they are especially good for emergency kits.

110 only had to supervise today. The ST300 did a lot of work helping the high school up the road build sets for their musical. One of the kids must've borrowed it a half dozen times in two hours, maybe he'll wind up on here someday.

Day 24  catch up

Gave the ole Swiss Buck Legend a slotted screwdriver tip on the file, much like the Classic SD.  Much prefer the slotted tip vs nail cleaner tip.

The Swiss Buck's new sd tip on the file works great for the dremel, it's perfect since I can never find the dremel tool.
