That's a good lookin Opinel. I never did get a judgement whether or not the two tooth serrations on my Opinel DIY qualified as a Combo Edge or not. I read a review for an Opinel like yours, Barry. Some fellow used one of these that he borrowed while hiking a section of the Appalachian Trail. Guy had sheepdogs. He liked the one he borrowed so much; he bought his own. Rained most of the day yestiddy. Rained on and off all night. More on the way. Too warm for snow. Just the right temperature for mud with a forecast for slickery slogginess. Best wishes. G
Sorry folks, had to back out of this one. My daughter was sick with Strep and then developed this PANDAS disorder, I've spent the last week or so taking care of her. She's better now, pretty much back to her normal self, but man was it a wild ride.

Day 11 (Image removed from quote.) Intersect of two hobbies of mine. I enjoy mucking about with a harmonica. I won't say I'm bad at it, but we'll just say my wife prefers I play when she's not home.
Thats the situation where I say youd have to finesse the angle of attack, just the outer plain edge through the paper. Similar to sharpening a stick for toasting food over a campfire. Id just use the plain edge. Engage the serrated part for synthetic materials like plastic.
Mine feels that way when I play too
Day 13Dug out the PST II to open a delivery….should go very well with the vodka I got earlier in the week
Which one...the spoon?
Day 13The serrated Griptilian helped me free two new to me multitools today. Both are rebrands of SOG Pocket Power Pliers. One is a Stanley MaxEdge and the second is a Harley Davidson Motortool. I choose to include them today since they both have combo edge blades. It is interesting that no where on the tool does it indicate that it was made by SOG. Both are marked made in USA, so most likely made in Lynwood Washington. JonesE
