💥DAY 28💥

i've been enjoying carrying the MC during this challenge feel like MAC would have really favored this model.

everything (except the HankLight)  fits in the mini pouch my gf gave me. The whole set up is incredibly light compared to what I was carrying before starting this challenge (SwissTool MX clip)

Day 28

Took my dad out fishing after work. Caught a couple small panfish, but no keepers. I took the Angler again, but I really prefer the MP400 as a fishing multitool.

I did have a bit of a MacGyver moment when we lost a hook. Not wanting it to wind up in some kid's foot or something, I found it with the magnet on the back of my flashlight.

Wife and i took a walk on the beach after brunch.
Looks like a nice place to spend an afternoon!

Bit of a grail SAK this one...
Congratulations!

Do you think somebody typed all this foolishness into some database?
Unless someone else uses your IP address or the computer is somehow scanning every minute detail of the pages you visit, I'm out of ideas. I still get similar ads even after clearing my cookies, browsing history, and such.

Saturday evening, came home to a lagomorph that was no longer with us.  The whole family was sad Saturday evening into Sunday.
I'm sad, too. So sorry to hear of your loss. Rest in peace, little one.

Day 28, Mac is working with cyber-companion-timer today.
Nice mod.  I discovered I like the package opener more than expected
Apologies for not keeping up with the postings.

Worked late on Friday, and went to an archery challenge on Saturday.  Saturday evening, came home to a lagomorph that was no longer with us.  The whole family was sad Saturday evening into Sunday.  She's resting peacefully in the backyard.  She was an old bunny so we were expecting it, but it still felt too soon.

Day 25

Just mail call for today.

So sorry for your family’s loss.  Whether expected or not the loss of a loved one, even a pet, hurts

Sounds like a good time despite not having any keepers.
Nice idea for locating the hook
Gracias amigo.

Day 29

Looks like this challenge has about finished its allotted time.   One day after this will finish it for me.  Quite a bit of catch-up work for some members.  I have switched back to Climber and watched another episode of MacGyver.  The one about the sasquatch.
Not long ago, you could watch most of the old MacGyver episodes on the archive.org site.  Things have changed there.  Probably half of the movies and things have been removed.  Many more have been changed to 'log in' status only.  The old Basil Rathbone movies of Sherlock Holmes are now log in items.  Smutty stuff is sprinkled in here and there on the site.  That is mostly log in.  These old 1940s Sherlock Holmes movies aren't exactly racy.  Watson might exclaim "Great Scott, Holmes" here and there.  Maybe it is the big pipe that Holmes smokes that put the old decrepit recordings into the naughty list?  What's next, Dragnet?  Jack Webb is never without a ciggie.  Every suspect, cop, and shaken crime victim needs a cancer stick to calm their nerves.  The Dragnet radio shows were sponsored by Fatima cigarettes.  Gunsmoke spent Chesterfield money.
Keeping up on the posts here was fun.  Hats off to the members.   Things got MacGyvered here and there.  Last thing I did with Climber was remove the air cleaner from my overage Echo.  I got used to carrying the pen wrapped with duct tape.  Might need to hide the thing somewhere after tomorrow so I can break the habit.   Best wishes.  G

Day 29, Mac is going with a 93 mm alox mod. Note the lower left corner of pic.  Shows an easy way to carry, toothpick, tweeers, straight pin, etc…  Just in case the paperclip is not enough.  :D

Busy, and in a blink, another day has passed. The R&S classic SD was a souvenir in a training a long time ago when I attended a LTE training. After changing roles, now I'm working with something related to cellular again.

Day 29.

As reported early, I replaced my watch band due to the strap loop broke.   Well that band was a difficult thing to clasp together as it was a tad short.

So, selected another band, actually had a green fabric fleecy.

Being upstairs, fresh change of clothes, found the RANGER handy, and with the lifter tool I swapped bands again.
