Day 5

LionSteel Shuffler in M390, Ti bolsters, green textured G10 handles

It’s a nice modern slip joint concept, well-made and comfortable in hand and pocket.

There is something off about the blade geometry though.  There were some rumors about early versions in this series being too thick behind the edge.  Not sure about that.  What I have observed first-hand is that the swedge is cut in at too steep an angle; this creates “shoulders” on the blade that catch in material when making through cuts.

Day 5

My green Timex started out as a carabiner pocket watch.  I really liked the dial but didn't care for the carabiner part so I decided to transfer the whole movement with the dial to a different case from another Timex Expedition.  Swapped in a new green band and now I have something unique.

It's not everybody's tastes but I really like it and it's one of a kind (as far as I know).

May the best of your past, be the worst of your future.

That's job well done.

Day 6

CRKT Minimalist Katana

Maybe the largest blade on any of the Minimalist models at around 3.5”.

I haven’t really carried or used this one much.  Just doesn’t seem to really fill a niche for me.

I did use it to open a fresh box o’ sticks today…

Day 6

According to Case, this Longhouse is green. I don't think I see it, but it's sure a sweet knife.

Is that a left-hander's watch?

Now I have something unique.
Indeed you do! :tu:

Looks like a Sharpie S-Gel. I'm cooking up an idea for a thread that will feature such a pen.

Those are some mighty dark wrappers! I assume those are some pretty full-bodied sticks?

Day 6

Three against one did not bide well for the Meijer receipt. The Bantam and the Opinel could use a sharpening or stropping. Looks like I'm gonna have to see about locating an old belt at a thrift store.

It feels easier to wear on left hand because the menu/up button on the left in the middle. But I think you can wear it either side.

I’ve only had one so far, but I would probably rate it as medium.

Though wrapper color is only one of multiple factors influencing the taste the cigar, I do find I generally prefer darker smokes to lighter ones.

Thank you both!   :hatsoff:

I've been favoring Sweet Janes as of late.

Day 6

I bought this Sofirn SC13 last year for $20.  In my opinion, it gives my Olight a run for it's money at $20.  Though I must say that it does get hotter to the touch quicker than the Olights. Still for $20 it's not bad and has become part of my rotation.  When it runs out of juice, I recharge it and swap in my Olight.

May the best of your past, be the worst of your future.

You’re not allowed to brew coffee indoors?

Your GREEN Alox Farmer X does seem to dominate this setting.
I could see myself snatching one up if my path ever crosses a Green Alox in the retail wild!😎
