Happy Super Tool Saturday Y'all. Here's my needs met.  A Super Tool 300, a trad for primary knife, and a Classic SD for the scissors.

Day 27
Carrying leap and tried to cut a sports tape, which it failed. Classic SD and surge can do it without any problem.

Day 27

Some of my Old Hickory knives. The big butcher on top I have had for a few years but just recently started using. The standard butcher below it is one I use regularly. Below that are a couple that they sold as outdoor/ hunting knives with leather sheaths. The last two are a couple of paring knives; the one on the bottom is both the oldest and newest of all these. Oldest because it is substantially older than the others, but newest because it was NOS in the original packaging when I bought it recently.

Day26
It's late (3am) just got home. Today will be a pocket dump.
This is my normal EDC, minus cellphone, CCW, bandanas, wallet, and the organizers it all packs in. I've been a heavy load out for years and revision to this are usually very minor.
I used to be a lot of things, and someday will again.
But for now I'm just a lost jack of trades with neither mastery nor home. ~NoaIsumi

Day 27

Back yard photo.  Looks nice and green because I have delayed mowing it.  As long as the grass isn't cut, it stands the dry weather pretty well.  The deer have been working daily keeping it nibbled down to an acceptable level anyway.
    Opinel again.  Best wishes.  G

Noa, I also carry a typically heavy loadout, usually evenly distributed in my cargo pockets. An organizer would probably help consolidate things but might also encourage me to carry more on me.  I have a Maxpedition Platy on the way, so we'll find out.

gra_farmer, :like: the Spyderco Mule. I hadn't seen one before or ever heard of K294 steel.  It definitely looks like an EDC winner.

Day 27 - weeding day today! So I choose my favorite alox. Usually keep a celidor in my pocket during summer, needle and tweezers come in handy all the time with kids and splinters

I don't have any real knife stores anywhere near me.
Sure I've got a Walmart, hardware stores and I've seen different tools at the auto parts stores.  However, every so often, I will find something at the Tractor Supply Store, that I've gotta buy.
Another find in the bottom of the project bag was this Camillus Key ring knife.  Paracord snake knot lanyard with stainless and brass washer bead.

PC, I really like that lanyard you have on your Camillus. I may borrow your alternating washer idea for a future project.

Day 27

The Peanut and Federalist accompanied me and my wife on our chores this Sunday. We hit the hardware store for a load on pavers and pea gravel. Going to start a project starting tomorrow afternoon.

Day 27

Same carry as yesterday, don't feel like carrying around a ton of gear these last few days. And I've come to a conclusion, I'm probably going to need pants that are easy to pull up because this getting dressed mess is going to be difficult. No extra gadgets and dodads, just the basics. Maybe just a pocket clipped knife or SAK with the rest in my laptop bag.

I love the grain on that No. 8 Alan  :tu:

David, I'm rapidly coming to the same conclusion.  Right now it's a No. 9 Opinel and a Gerber Dime.  I haven't had anything come up that they couldn't handle.  Summer is tough to carry a lot anyways!

Day 25 - catch up

Wife was sick since Thursday evening so I've been pulling double duty at home while she rested up.  Some sort of stomach bug but she's doing much better now.

An Imperial scout knife I'll be carrying on the SAK-A-Like Challenge in September.

Day 26

Gerber Bear Grylls pocket tool.  It looked, interesting, so I picked it up a while ago.  The Phillips is hard to open as it's pushing against two springs but it's ok.  It'll get you by if it's all you have.

Day 27

Ozark Trail D2 knife.  Do not pay more than the $10 Walmart sells it for.  It's not a bad knife, and it will get the job done but it's only a deal if you pay the $10 for it.  I actually got it for a bit cheaper as my sister works at Walmart.   :D  I wouldn't be afraid to abuse this knife if I had to.

Day 26

CAT rebrand of what used to be sold as the Kilamanjaro Magnus multitool.

I had misplaced my knife while cleaning up the basement, and grabbed this one out of a drawer where I keep some miscellaneous tools.

Used to to snap zip ties from a shelving unit, as well as unscrew a vacuum cleaner. Surprisingly, the driver didn't slip, but it felt just plain silly with the sheer size of the tool.

Day 27:

FINALLY got the replacement LCD ribbon cable in my Flashforge Adventurer 5M after a week's wait (not bad, actually). Works fine now.

I will need to secure it better. The old cable had double-stick tape that secured it to the inside of the frame rail, and that held it great. I had to make-do with zip ties, as they didn't include the adhesive with the replacement.  Thus, I'll get a new roll at Lowe's.
