Beautiful Douk Douk

Day 20

Old and new.
Thanks! I like it a lot more than I thought I would.

I have an old Thinkpad that looks just like that one. Haven't used it in awhile, but I used to program radios with it. I think it will still work for that. I have some old Macom public service radios that can be used for ham radio, and the programming software for them won't run on newer computers.

Love the Thinkpad, and it still limps along. It's a shame they killed most of the smaller end of their line, or I'd probably have gotten another.

Day 21

Benefits of being my friend: I will randomly tighten your screws for challenge pics when I visit.

Day 21

Used the Gerber LST to help heat up dinner. Couldn’t get a grip well enough to tear a package of rice, so the Gerber made quick work of that.

Didn’t get an action shot so here it is with my laptop bag, also in black

I gotta get caught up quick-like, so...

Day 21

I've had this notebook/binder since 2008, and it doesn't look half-bad. I thought it only appropriate to show it with a Wenger.

It is great how even a small AAA light is still highly functional.

Day 22
The neighbor was doing some work on a new to her car.  I offered to try and help remove a broken dipstick when she looked at me as “your the one usually with tools on you”.  The funny thing is between the Spirit and the Golfer, it was the Golfer corkscrew that ended up helping just like pulling out a cork.  No action picture because my phone was in the house.

I’ve long been of the opinion that the corkscrew is far more useful and versatile than the back-mounted Phillips, but I did not have “broken dipstick remover” on my bingo card.

Well done!

Very good job!

Another point for the corkscrew!

I always chuckled to my self, when working at the Y near children.  They never forgot that first time seeing me trim a broken branch with my REBAR.

They always asked, “Going use your Leatherman?”

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

With full power loads, yes. But I'm a handloader, and I often load it down to a 240 grain cast bullet at around 1000 fps. That's a sweet shooting load, and lots cheaper than the factory loads too.

Also bitdriver is centered so its far nicer to use compared to other LM tools with bitdriver.

I tend to agree.
If a bottle of wine needs opening, it's usually urgent.
A loose Phillips can (almost) always wait.

I have a similarly lightweight knife...but I don't remember if I've shown it yet.

Used MX rescue blade today to cut plastic bands around boxes.
That rescue blade could come in handy at times! :tu:

Day 23

Some smurfty cold weather (0 Fahrenheit) for me today...we need a barfing emoji. Here's a little combo tool/dedicated openers in an attempt to make it better. I decided to give the Bantam a little pocket time.
