Actually, I think my wife will love them!  A couple years ago I made her a pair using bottle caps from her favorite beers.  They're perfect for parties.  And last year it was tiny diamond hoops.  Time for a pair of SAK earrings!

If it was two corkscrews they would probably pass as normal earrings to those not in-the-know

I thought the same thing!  I actually made two pairs, one of cap lifters and one of corkscrews.  Since the other pair is going to my sister-in-law, I decided to make each pair a set of corkscrew and cap lifter.  I know my wife will wear them for fun occasions; not so sure about my SIL.

This is a great idea!  I will try it and my divorce lawyer will let you know in the new year how it went!   :D

Years ago when Leatherman released the Tread I had a similar idea to attach earring loops to a couple of flat Leatherman bits as an accessory to the bracelet!   :rofl:

My wife has a butt load of earrings.  She has a metal allergy so she wears gold hoop rings and attaches the non gold ones to them. I might have to find some spare SAK tools and give her some for Christmas.

Corkscrew earring is a good idea.  If the other earring has a way to engage the top, like a hex hole, so it can be used for torque on the corkscrew.

Better to actually upload pics to the forum anyway. Sites go down, firewalls do weird things, etc. If you upload it to the forum, it'll be there as long as the forum is. We've awlready got whole threads full of dead/placeholder images from off site hosts.
