nice haul tony  :tu: shame the sak has broken tips, although ive never seen a SAK at a booty yet and i would probably buy one broken or not  :D it was like that bak i sent you as i saw it and thought wow ,and then opened it and went oh  :D broken spine, that MT i picked up the other week was the same, i thought £2 bargain but then found out it only had one lot of tool load as the other handles tools was missing, this is the way of the booty sadly, all fun though sorting them out  ;)  :salute:

The sak looks like it is crying out for the blade to be made into a DoE type for those super sheepie moments.

Paul,
There were not very many knives of any kind at this bootsale, two or three cheap slippys at one stall and this SAK, no Axes and hardly any tools  :-\

That might be the way to go with it Mark, DoE the big blade and slightly adjust the small

Handle cleaned with cellulose thinners, faces filed and sanded then everything oiled with linseed/white spirit mix   :salute:

Wet here this morning..... so went to two boot sales  :D

A hammer which has been treated badly  (can't see the makers name but feels like a quality tool  :-\ )
A knackered scriber
An English made file
A Finnish made file
A couple of Stanley screwdrivers
A 'Footprint' padsaw

And another old Ax head

When its been raining heavy the good boot sale round here tuns into a bog and they close the field.  So even though it was dry first thing in the morning I didn't waste my petrol heading over.

Fingers crossed for better weather this week.

For a Traveller or Altimeter that's “pretty good value”. :D

Not one multitool or SAK  :(

I saw a Kukuri, it was quite an odd looking one with a full width tang and looked like a wielded butplate, the handle looked old but everything looked too shiny........for 60 pounds!!!!!!  :o
the guy got a bit annoyed when I suggested it was a 'bit touristy'

A couple of screwdrivers and another mallet  ::)

I have been looking for something to tidy up my computer desk, to hold all the SAK's, touches, lighters, batteries, glue etc etc etc

I wanted something like an old wooden tool box......

Possibly an antique.......

Something very manly......

So I picked this up.......
