My First Victorinox for my son and a Midnight Manager for my wife courtesy of the fine gentleman from the FELINEVET Shop.

I really appreciate everything Mr. Meeker did to make me happy.

So you got a better pouch I see. Mine came with the smaller pouch for the 111 mm models, not this longer one that you got:

Also mine came just like that, knives inside their (small) pouches, no silver box, no user guide imprint:

Martin, can you please tell us if yours has any lateral blade play as mentioned in this thread or any other similarities beyond the finish that obviously looks to be the same:

Evo S10

And what I think is a Classic 66, not 100% on that...

No T&T on this one, and the saw has a nail nick.  The combo tool is marked PAT, and is locking.  :tu:

On the one hand I got on ebay a mislabelled Victorinox Fireman (111mm black scales) for cheap. So cheap, I have no fear to harvest some tools. >:-)

The other SAK is my custom Mate. My new key chain tool.

This one was a spontaneous purchase.  I had been looking to pick up a used Swisschamp or Craftsman to try out some of the additional tools, since all of my SAKs to date have been 2 or 3 layered knives.  My thought was that after experimenting with some of the tools, it would be handy to keep in my office desk.

I stumbled upon an unused Craftsman in the original box that was in its final minutes of an eBay auction.  Nobody had bid on it, and I felt kind of sorry for it, so I placed the minimum bid and picked it up.

It has pliers, but it does not have the riveted scissors or parcel hook, so I believe that dates it from 1987-1991.  My only issue now is that I originally bought this knife to be a user, but seeing that it has remained pristine after 22 to 26 years, it seems a shame to start using it now, so I may just tuck this one away and continue looking for another used one.
