Ah, gotcha. I've had my eye on that red farmer actually, and was about to buy it this morning until I got a second chance offer on one of the Electrician Duos with a red shield. That ended up taking the funds I had sitting around...

If that Farmer is still there in a couple days, I may buy it. Nice score though, that blue is stunning.

Yes the blue really stands out a lot. Thats great you got a second chance offer on that electrician duo with red shield. The red shield on the colored Alox looks the best  :tu:

Very nice, Gareth!
Is there a company logo on the other scale? Almost all yellow ones I have seen have the cross and shield on the back scale

Wow, gorgeous alox. Where'd you score that farmer?

Nice Burnside, any info on where to find another blue farmer?

I bought the blue Farmer from smartknives who is selling the red Farmer which is currently listed on the big auction site. I saw that they had sold a few red Farmers, so I asked if they had any blue ones and they did. I don't know if they have any left, but it's worth a try if you're looking.

I used the advanced search Sold Listings and I saw that they had recently sold a bunch of Farmers in both red and blue. Each sale was a buy-it-now with the prices rising each time. I don't think they will budge on the price. They might even raise the price after the next sale.

The red Farmer that they have listed right now has been up for about a week, and the one before that was only up for a day (although it was listed at a lower price).

Is that the Smartknives with the useful database, or another company with the same name? Didn't think Smartknives was currently active.

I thought so too but he contacted Grant a few months ago inquiring to list his stuff on EDCS. He hasn't done so yet but we may see him around.

PS. If you have anything ready for the wiki, I think I'll have time to add new stuff next week.

W-K = Waffen Kontrol, which means that SAK originally went to the military.  I don't think they're super rare, but still a nice find.

Don't have anything ready, but you might add the unknown Junior since it doesn't look like we're going to come up with a name.

I've been thinking about doing the Survivor/Signal Wengers with whistles, but will have to see how time and energy work out (still run down from the trip and hosting relatives). (need a sleep emoticon)

I have pictures already taken for my EDCS listings of both models 1.68.02 (from the Bardane series) and 1.92.73 (from the Signal series), if this might help.

I think we might start a thread to discuss how to handle the models with whistles. I have a big project planned for the wiki to update all the pics bit I've been holding off on starting the threads till ICFT gets back to discuss it with him too. He hasn't been active in quite some time.

I have no idea if it's the same smartknives or not. The one I am referring to is a seller on the big auction site. They have a nib red farmer listed right now.
