Cheers gents.  It really is a cracking knife.  Solid without being chunky and has the perfectly weighted blade pull.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

Beautiful traditionals, FarmerX m, SteveC, David and Gareth!

I just am impressed with Gareth’s SHARP looking models, a clip point this one, very impressive!

I am yet waiting🙄 for my English Beech Spalty to arrive from England.  Ordered in March, tracking provided a couple days later, tracked to Royal post and last report was March 24.  Then April 8, an update, it landed in Chicago, 2nd update, it was with Customs, and have not received any new info since🧐.
Very frustrated, but will continue to be patient!
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Imperial punch blade Stockman--black composition handles, pinned shield, brass liners--very well crafted compared to the kinda cheap shell-handled ones. 1930s era, I think.

Stainless rigger's knife, no markings--made in Sheffield. Sold by R. Murphy knives as the "Yachtsman" until Dexter bought the brand and ditched most of the catalog--including outdoor knives like this one. Only 3 1/8" closed, so it weighs nothing, but has a locking spike and is tough as nails. I suspect that whoever makes the Captain Currey knives made this one as well. Looks a lot like the Bosun's Mate; but it doesn't have the hole cut into the blade, nor does it have the shackle key cut into the handle.

Despite my hatred for hawkbills, I like the Pruner. The curve of the edge is not overly done  :like:  :tu:

I have to admit, the slightly recurve sheepsfoot style of hawkbill some knives use performs just as well as a more pronounced curve, and it is not only easier to sharpen, but far more practical for EDC.

I absolutely despise sharpening a hawkbill. Part of the reason I think I own six of the American-made Kleins is that it puts off having to sharpen them all the time--dull one, grab another, sharpen the dull one whenever. I noticed Lansky makes a set of rounded hawkbill stones for their sharpening system, and I'm getting one anyway, so I'll be picking that set of stones up with it.
