I know it doesn’t really go with movie but it’s on the screen, the kid and I have been talking about it for a few weeks and finally did it today/tonight, we played our one game(portal 2) and finished it out in 6hrs, even fed and took care of the cats and dogs, and even ordered a pizza for the two of us and a salad for the Mrs, in which the kid for! Oh that was fun, we need to do that more often!

The Sisters Brothers  2018  This thing is two hours long.  I would watch it a while, then stop.  Then start again.  Best idea is probably not to start.  A western.  Two enforcer type brothers working for 'The Commodore'.  Best wishes.  G

The kid took us to the movies to see ”Deadpool & Wolverine” and I must say the whole theater was liking it! There was a lot of Easter eggs in the movie, all regarding to other movies! But best of all it was funny, everyone was laughing through the whole movie! I’d give it a solid 10/10 if you like action and comics!

Freaks vs. The Reich  2023  Italian language with English subs.  Circus performers get caught up in the Nazi war machine.  Fantasy, comedy, horror.  It is long, but might interest some.  I rather liked it.  Best wishes.  G

Kid took us to see “twisters”, the Mrs liked it but I didn’t really think it was too great, maybe it was because my back was in so much pain I didn’t pay too much attention to the movie?

Found an older movie on PRIME a couple nights ago, Robert Redford and Brad Pitt.  Maybe 2001, called SPY GAME.

Combined intrigue, with action, and plot twists right till the end!

Held my attention.   The secretary was pivotal 😉
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

The Final Stand  2020 WW2 Russian movie.  English dubbed.  Two hours and twenty minutes plus.  It was okay.  I have been getting so many REALLY BAD movies lately, that this one looked fairly good by comparison.  Best wishes.  G

Deadlock  1970  Frantic, violent, Italian movie.  English dubbed.  I don't think the film actually had a script.  Director told the actors the general idea and told them to make something up.  Best wishes.  G

Black Sunday  1960  Italian movie with English dubs.  Cringe worthy.  Barbara Steele.  Deemed a horror classic by some, I suppose.  If you are a horror movie buff, this is required watching.   ;)
       Just a stray comment about horror flicks.  If a movie begins (as so many do) with a young woman running and gasping through the woods, I automatically give it one strike.  If she then falls on her face, and is dragged away by her feet  screaming by SOMETHING off camera ...... it gets a second strike.  I generally don't bother to wait for strike three.  I just look for another poorly made movie to watch. 
       Tiresome beginning number two has an aerial shot of a car traveling down a narrow road through the trees.  One strike.  Close up has someone driving and only occasionally looking at the road.  Immature, alcohol inspired brainless comments from car passengers.  One sullen complaining one.  One horn dog.  One drunk with a case of motor mouth.  Strikes one two and three.  Keep on looking.

The Tag Along  2014  Taiwanese with English subs.  Be afraid of the woods.  Very afraid.  At least on Formosa.  Not a great movie.  Honestly the worst thing that ever happened to me in the woods was a back spasm.  I walked out and once I got home decided to lie on something hard and straight.  The floor.  Mistake.  Best wishes.  G

Last night found an oldie but yet very entertaining movie on the Disney + service.

SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON.

As good last night as I recall seeing it first time as a young lad, likely at a drive in theater with mom and dad.

    I saw the movie Swiss Family Robinson as a child, but don't remember anything.  I read the book when I was about 8 maybe.  I had cousins named Robinson, so I equated them with the characters.  Best wishes.  G

Last weekend I watched all three The Hobbit movies which took up most of it. As much as I liked The Lord of the Rings and Peter Jackson's movies generally I don't like that The Hobbit was stretched out to three movies and stuffed with all sorts of things that weren't in the book.
I often dreamt of one day, if I had the know-how, skills and equipment (which I don't), editing them down to one movie that was more in keeping with the book.

Well, I discovered that there are several such fan edits already in existence, so I downloaded and have started watching the M4 Book Edit. It's still over four hours long so I'm not sure when I'll get around to completing it but I'll report back when I have.
