Birthday day for my eldest daughter, 7 today and frightening how fast time has gone. Taken the day off work to reset the home and help bake a Frozen Elsa cake....it looks so good, and will get a photo before it's eaten.

No8 is helping with domestic duties, trimming off suckers of poplar tree that we use as a washing line....it's really good for this task

Been thinking of gussying up this 7 a little to carry it more. I all sorts of thumbstuds, pocket clips, etc. Any that anyone particularly recommends?

The clip I put on the back of mine has proved very useful. It is so light that it has been riding in my shirt pockets unobtrusively. I also found that rounding the handle end makes it more versatile with gripping comfort during various tasks.

Abnormal day, left home about 12:30p and just arrived back at 10:45 with items to unload and store.

Did enjoy dinner at daughter’s and visiting.

Yes, Barry, something is happening, went from not one Opinel in 2023, to box with not 2 not 4 not 7 but 15🔪🤪 and pocket sheaths, belt sheath, experimenting with other options. Matching them up with certain LM Mats even other knife pairings. My goodness even caught myself COLOR COORDINATING my knife with an Irish holiday!

Early morning walk in the forest with my young one.


He can make really big mess but most of the time he is adorable




There are few hundred meters where we need to go using railway as there is either no walking path or we would need to walk on busy road. We let the train pass and then followed it.




Now leaving to the office with my walnut no.8 in my pocket.
