Day 3

Used the wire cutters to trim a little piece of plastic tubing as earring backs for my daughter. Lossing earrings is a favorite pass time of hers.

Nice use, SubMY! :like: :tu: :tu:

Day 3:

Most of my uses today were Minichamp related. The MC lacking pliers cannot help with changing out rodent traps. I use them to really wedge the glue trap under the garage frame. Otherwise the mice drag the trap around the garage.

I also needed a full size Phillips to remove the lattice for new traps under the porch.

Nice use and pics, Grand_Banana! :like: :tu: :tu:

Day 3

A Register vent was vibrating only when the furnace fan increased blower speed higher (variable speed blower )

Took several cycles before the loose vent was isolated.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Flat blade worked just fine.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

I am physically and mentally exhausted after a difficult day at work. So I must keep this brief, especially considering that I've awlready taken one unintentional nap and there is laundry to fold.

Day 3

I opened a Jarritos to enjoy after dinner (which was lunch that I wound up not eating at work).

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Note that the JPST has one handle open in the above photo. I don't know if that is a peculiarity with Jarritos bottles or if the PST opener tool is on the small side. Further testing is necessary. Good thing I still have a beer. :drink:

Somewhere I read that this is the way the tools were meant to be used Dan.  I don't know if that's correct.  I hope your evening gets better!

Day 3 - I think I’m done modifying it. I’m going to call it a PCST2 which is short for Pocket Clip Survival Tool 2 since it now has parts from a PST, PST2 and a Sideclip.

Todays action photo is from putting the Sideclip back together.

DAY 4

Moved my father's old mini cooper outside as need to have space in the barn for my tools.  It was promised to my older sister.

Out of respect for my father (both my sister's are monsters and not very nice), the PST helped by cutting baler twine.

Although you cannot see it, it is an original racing mini cooper, in British racing green colour. My father used to be in the motor trade, used to do circuit racing and rally driving too.

2024 Legendary PST Challenge
Day 4 of 30

Earbud repair. One side quit charging. Seems one of the brass pins got pushed in and wasn't sticking up far enough to make contact. SideClip was perfect for pulling it back out and we are now charging once again.
