Day 10
I'm making a recipe that required additional broth, so I took a half a carton I'd saved out of the freezer.  I had to cut it open since it was frozen solid, and couldn't just be poured out, and the serrated blade from the PowerPint worked very well for this.

Alan, looks like that serrated blade made quick work of that chicken broth container. Hope your recipe turns out great.

I've been impressed with how well the SOG blades cut. They seem to hold an edge well and the serrations on my blade get a good grip on what's being cut.
What do you all think of the strap cutter, if yours has one?  My only experience has been with the Leatherman OHT and it does well.

Some bonus fun pics after playing with the strap cutter.  I was opening a bag of potato chips from work, just to see how it would do.  No surprise, it worked great!

Tbh after the shot I regret putting in to the sand and have wet sand stuck between the moving plier head parts.

But it looks like easy to take apart to clean and lube everything again.

They're very user friendly Kaevin, probably the original modular multitool line.  You shouldn't have any problems.  If you'd like, you can post make up pics to bring you up to day 11.  You found a great example of a Lynnwood SOG!

Day 11: Finding a bottle to open with the cap lifter isn't so easy anymore.  The Powerlock cap lifter worked as designed.

Morning, all.
The BO PowerPint has officially taken up residence in the pocket slip.  After slicing open my finger, yesterday, I believe that we'll take it easy today.

(make up) Day 2
Taken it apart after flushing. Lube with greese and wiped with mineral oil. I really like how easy it is to take it apart as well as adjusting how tight or loose the joints are with the screw.

Alan, great use for your PowerPint today. Sometimes those security tops are easy to take off and others have you swearing in anger. Glad you showed it who was boss.

Kaevin, good for you for taking apart your P3 and cleaning out the sand and salt. It a very important task that will insure your tool will last a long time.

Jarritos makes a great addition to any MTo challenge. Great flavors, cane sugar instead of that high-fructose corn syrup malarkey, and pop-off bottle caps!

PitCarver, hope the injury was minor and heals quickly.

Great photos and uses from awl! :2tu:
