I did it. Had an Aloxplorer made for me by Syph last year, but unfortunately I would never carry it. Now, looking at the Pioneer X, I don't really care for the "wrong" nail nick position. Long story short, wanting a Pioneer X, but with the "proper" nail nick, I removed the mag/Phillips layer from the Aloxplorer and, after shortening the pivots and the screws, put everything back together, Loctite and all.

I've loved my black SwissChamp and EDC'd it every day for nearly seventeen years now. Time I had another one!

This time I went classic red celidor and threw in a few bucks to have my family nickname engraved on it. :D

Just so you know: it reads "DaddyCat", not "DaddyEat". It looks like the engraver got carried away with the flourish on the capital C.
EDC: SwissChamp, Swisstool X, Zippo, Mini Maglite, all on my belt. I'm one more sheath away from becoming Batman.

The Damascus Pioneer X! Yes, it's beautiful.

Strangely, the eBay seller included a free 348 page Boker catalogue... which seems a cool bonus (!?)

These arrived two days ago, and they're already riding my belt and doing chores!

Just received a Solo (108mm version) from I believe a forum member with a great taste in knives ( but questionable taste in single malt whisky  :D). Will post a picture or two once I get a chance.
