I was using a Vic Huntsman until I noticed that I never use the wood saw. I bought then an Explorer, for the Phillips screwdriver (wich I have used a lot to fix everything around) and with the magnifying glass as a bonus (wich I have used mainly as a macro lens for iPhoneography and for reading small serial numbers). More recently, I offered a Vic Executive to my wife and ordered a minichamp for me. Meanwhile, I upgraded the Explorer with plus scales, in order to get a pen.

Now I think I am done for a while. I would like very much to have a Victorinox Traveller lite, with thermometer, clock, barometer, altimeter, and so on, but I cannot  afford it :-/

Thanks guys. It is quite the looker. I cant compare it to the SS Spirit cause I dont own one. No complaints on grip yet here. The honeymoon is in full swing.

I just got in my explorer PLUS and im super stoked.  I love the pen! I love that the ink is BLUE! I love the mag glass!

what a cool SAK, im so glad I waited and got the plus scales. im gonna make this my daily carry for a bit and best of all it fits inside my CLC pouch with my Swisstool.

@Monrogue/Marius yes gentlemen you are right picture is of a Champion Plus I was excited to post new SAK and couldn't delete after I posted and realized  :whistle:.  Explorer Plus is still on the way.  man I cant get anything by this lot  :D

it should be just as awesome with fewer layers.  its pretty close to the ranger with additional goodies like the mag glass, scaler, inline Philips, and plus scales.  I already have a ranger and since you got the Plus I was like hmm.......  I didn't want to get another ranger so........  I had to  :ahhh

Yeah I bet you'll enjoy it.  I really liked my Explorer while I had it.  The Ranger is pretty sweet as well, and I am happy it's a Plus as I never saw the Ranger available as a Plus on Amazon.  I was surprised to find them on Ebay, so I figured why not?  This place is bad...in a good way ;)

the plus is pretty sweet indeed. I have really gone bananas for the mag glass myself.  I have been looking at the different models and again I find myself drawn to the rare and very hard to find ones.  well I only have 10 SAKs including the wengers so its hasn't got that bad...... YET

Yeah, the mag glass can be handy at times, and especially if your vision is going.  Mine is fine (at least for close up items), but it's still come in handy to see small numbers or other details that are hard to see normally.

Just got this SAKs Wenger Hardwood 13 from the mail today. Bought it from evilbay.
Since this is the last year that Wenger will produce SAK, so I get 1 for my collection :D
