Just came in, huh :think: what Juan this be? It’s not heavy, it’s like there’s nothing in there? Like seriously it weighs nothing, and it’s totally flat, I’m stumped  :think: ? I didn’t order anything, it’s in my name, I’m baffled! So the Mrs says just open it. So I do, I look in and I don’t understand, I see like nothing, what the heck is it? :think: So I reach in and find some little item with two pieces of paper and I pull out this, oh cool, no really cool, a head cooler, ice wanted one for a while but just never bought one and the Mrs noticed I was looking at it online the other day she ordered it for me without me knowing, that meany, lol,, so she says are you going to read the pieces of paper? I said I did they were about the shipment, she says look again, and I did and there was nothing, so I look in the bag and sure enough another piece of paper and it read this, I was like awwww.
Anyway, I have a small towel of this stuff and it’s pretty good, so I thought I could use one of these under my boonie hat but I just never got to it.

Oh I couldn’t imagine my life without her, will be coming up on 23yrs, we first started talking online and neither of us had a camera and after so long I drove to meet her, and that was it, we’ve always said the two of us make one, she always had the physical problems yet I was soccer ready, I’ve always had the mental problems with seizures, yet she grad top 5% of the US, we pretty much know what the other is thinking, and she’s the sweetest thing, she would give up getting a brand new computer if it meant you get a simple sak you wanted for a while!

As I was on here the kid text me saying he got me something special, yet he was at work, so I was like :think: normally this means old posters since he works at a theater, when a new movie comes in and they have to put up all new posters the employees get dibs on all the old ones, so I was thinking a poster of something I like,, yet today he was handing out posters and these, and he thought I would like one cause he even thought they were cool so he got me one,  :D

I do, and I bet you will, too. Those MAM are dirt cheap but still very capable knives. No bells and whistles, just a confortable handle and a very sharp blade.

Nice haul Farmer X.  Those looks like real nice cutters thats for sure.  The Turn Box is a nice kit.  I use mine often.

Thanks! I'm still getting used to the TurnBox (and I'm terrible at sharpening, anyway). And the MAM is a great little knife. It's sort of like an Opinel, which is a good thing.

I love the process of sharpening and I take it way to far most times  :whistle:.  The Turn Box is a nice tool to realign the cutting edge and can do a little more work on edges than just that. 

Make sure to wash your ceramic ( white ) sticks when they get too filled with metal ( turn grey ).  I use a blue scrubby with soap and warm water.  I've also used bar keeper friend liquid with soft cloth and warm water rinse.  I know there are those who say any abrasives will ruin the sticks but I've not found that to be true for me.

I like a stone eraser for this, you have to brush the residue off (like a real eraser) but it cleans up stones in a jiffy  :tu:

Actually, the decision was easy. I wanted the sheepsfoot blade, but it had to be city-compliant (under three inches). That ruled out the 2042, 2043, and 3BB. So it had 2B the 2B. :D

The Mrs said your probably not going to want it but I got it for you anyway, I’m like what the heck did you buy? She’s like nothing, someone was giving away a free drafting table, I gave up mine a while back so she saw that someone was getting rid of one so she jumped on it, so I was like where the heck are we going to put a drafting table? Well we can put it in the garage for now then we can figure that out but I had to jump on it, so it got dropped off, it even has a t-slide, only problem is it’s missing two parts to make the table hold but I can get those from lowes, actually I might have something in the garage? :think:
I still have my 45°/“90° and 30°/90° triangles and I think at least two scales,, but what the heck am I going to do? :dunno: She just felt bad that I gave up mine,,
