Day 6
Used the can opener so separate these two thingies that were glued. Don‘t ask me what they are called, you can put them on furniture legs so the furniture doesn‘t slide

Scissors cut double sided tape

Not even a week in and i already have some observations about my EDC. I chose a cellidor model on purpose, to see if i could go back from the Spirit and Alox models. After 6 days I can tell you already that i can‘t.

In the first picture you can see that the scales are stained. This happened earlier in the week when i was working with leather stain. Would not have happened with Alox or the Spirit.

I already damaged a screw driver because i overestimated the backside tools. I also don‘t like the can opener for Phillips screws (on 91mm) for two reasons: The Handyman is too wide, and since the can opener doesn‘t sit in the middle, it is hard to use as a handle.
Secondly the can opener of the 91mm models is weaker and thinner compared to the 93mm ones, resulting in less grip and more slipping when using it as a screwdriver.

Interesting.

Staining seems like a virtue to me--the SAK equivalent to a scar--but I hadn't noticed a big difference between 91 and 93mm SAK drivers.  I have to check that out now!

Day 6
Not much use today other than use the Yeoman combo tool to open a protein shake and the serrated blade on the Spirit to cut some plastic rings.
(Image removed from quote.)
Fisher used his pliers today, so I thought I’d include a picture of that use as well.
(Image removed from quote.)
Nice uses Sos!

Is always nice see a picture of Fisher! Very cute

:like: The military models are definitely more heavy duty.  I pried things with a 111 caplifter that I never would have tried with any other tool.  I like the back mounted screwdriver, and have both a Craftsman and a Master Craftsman.  The problem I have with them is that I can never get into the spots that I need them to get to because of their position.  That, and there's a bunch of uses for a corkscrew.  I don't want to open up that subject

I don‘t mind scratches that come through use, but not a fan of stains  :dunno:

The 93mm is thicker at the tip and also further back. For that reason they also have a slightly different curve on the opener blade. At least that‘s what it looks like.

It may be possible to polish a stain out.   :dunno:

And with Celidor.....if the scales get too messed up, you can replace them!  (Ask me how I know....  ;) )

Thanks Barry!

I really love that cup. (My dad was a VW employee and loved It)

That instant is from "Café Pelé" brand.
It's a brazilian brand (very popular here).

Hello Day 7
some running repairs to the lawnmower wheel . The tread was coming off so a quick fix with some duct tape and the Wave.
Probably should find   some  new wheels but this is more fun.

Day 7

Practiced my one hand shuffling, which is disastrous.

And I also been playing with the paracord bracelet I made earlier, I really like the version MeZillch shared on his channel.  Most other premade paracord are semi permanent, and it's a real pain to take it apart.  But his version is quick and could be resembled quickly if you practice with it enough, approximately 10ft here readily accessible.  I know he is a member here, so a big thank you for sharing this method.

Kinda curious if Fisher got to pick his EDC, what would those be?(I'm sure the pliers is one of them) :D

Same thought of can opener as philips, I think it's nice to have, but definitely prefer inline philips if I do get the choice.
